Brain Integration Therapy Manual Spiral-bound – January 1, 2010

I have done this with my 3rd grader consistently for the past 10 weeks. Most of his reversals in writing have already disappeared and his reading is getting better. I would not say it is miraculous, but it is encouraging. I have homeschooled 9 children and have taught 8 of them to read quite easily with phonics. I was surprised when this son could not get the hang of reading. It just wouldn't click. This book gave me exercises and the "why" behind the exercises to help "unlock" his potential. He is a very creative and imaginative young man. He actually likes school this year.

I am a homeschooler of two children, both of whom we thought would benefit from the information in this manual. The information in the book is interesting, and the procedures are sequenced well. The manual itself is not what you would expect for the amount of money spent, though. The manual looks to be 'home-made'; laser printed pages that are spiral bound. There are many spelling and grammatical errors throughout. For the money spent, I would have liked to have seen a more professional presentation, and reading it would have been much easier without all of the errors.

We've been using this for about 5 weeks already had dramatic results! He couldn't spell even simple words before and writing a sentence was a challenge. Now he's asking for more spelling words and writing a paragraph.

Since my son is nearly 17, it will take some time for the exercises in this book to make a huge difference. That being said, after using it for only a month, I already think I see some small positive changes. This book is truly a God send. The exercises are laid out well, and easy to do.

Dated but still very useful and relevant. I like the multi-sensory approach very much.

A very clearly written book easy to understand. The book was in very good Condition. Looking forward to using some of the strategies.

Nice organization, great ideas and good explanations of purpose. Functional, simple and combines a number intervention strategies. Worthwhile tool for your therapy kit.

I have only been using the book for a couple of months, but I am seeing a difference in my child's reading and writing. Thank you!
