YES YES YES
Bought these when we first started TTC with baby #1.I didn't realize actually how beneficial these were to treatment of Antibiotic injuries. I had bactrim for a while and bactrim actually synthesizes to tetrahydrofolate (I think that's what it's called, could be wrong) DNA in your system and therefore depletes it in it's entirety to the point that you can develop serious side effects (like I did). Anyway, I took this every day religiously along with supplementation of a prenatal vitamin and lots of veggies and fruits. my POTs is starting to disappear now! I thought POTS was a chronic condition but this has helped me not only conceive but also stop blood from rushing and staying in my legs. POTS is basically nervous system damage that doctors have no idea how to treat because they don't use natural treatment to poison (thanks John D. Rockefeller for your amazing medical curriculum that kills millions of people a year and makes them suffer with "chronic" conditions) But seriously after taking a crap ton of folate my POTS is basically gone. I also supplemented with Thiamin and vitamin C so that combination works (at least for me) very well.Definitely recommend! Love it!The pill is also very small and not hard to swallow. I dip it in honey though because it is a bit bitter sometimes to swallow, especially if you suck at swallowing pills like me. Overall, I love this stuff! You also get great value for the amount of folate and folic acid you get. This will last me for a very long time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Folic Acid--who needs it? It's complicated.
Folic acid (vitamin B9 or folate) is one of the B vitamins, all of which help the body change food into the fuel that produces energy. Also they help the body maintain a healthy liver and good eyes, help maintain a healthy nervous system, and keep skin and hair beautiful. It helps iron work in the body and has to do with making red blood cells. It controls the level of homocysteine, which is sometimes abnormally high in heart patients. We get B9 two ways. Folate is the natural form occurring in foods. Folic acid is the synthetic form, which is added to fortified foods (including grains in the United States) or given in pill form.Traditionally, nutritionists have considered an increased supply of folic acid for people who are in phases of their lives when there is rapid cell development. These times include infancy, teenage years, and pregnancy. If a pregnant woman has a deficiency, she could have a child with a cleft palate or a brain/spinal column deformity.Alcoholics and people with inflammatory bowel diseases and celiac disease may have deficiencies of this vitamin. A deficiency can cause a long list of problems, some related to poor mouth health, others related to poor digestion. What is interesting is that forgetfulness, along with mental sluggishness, is something seniors are often plagued with. Nutritionists cannot prove that seniors can benefit from taking it though. Also, a deficiency can cause irritability, forgetfulness, and mental sluggishness. A deficiency of this vitamin is associated with some other problems of aging: hearing loss, macular degeneration, and depression. Folic acid may prevent some types of cancer. Why should a senior adult not just take B9 as a supplement?First, there’s no concrete proof that it will help. Second, it should be available in a well-balanced diet Grains are fortified with it. Dark leafy greens have plenty of it. So do orange juice and milk. Third, too much folic acid can interact with a long list of medications—chemotherapy, antibiotics, and others. Too much of it can cause some bad side effects, such as seizures and mental confusion. It’s complicated!(Folic acid is a vitamin of interest to senior citizens.
