Heavy Duty vs Regular Leave-In
Normally I use the regular leave-in conditioner, but decided to try the Heavy Duty this time around...It seems there are 2 noteworthy differences between the 2 products.First, the Heavy Duty has a small amount of wax giving it a bit of a "beard holding" property. Handling the two, you can feel the difference in viscosity when rubbing it on the hands and eventually onto the bears. It's not super strong, but there is a noticeable difference.Second is the scent. The Heavy Duty is more of a "no scent added" type product. It smells like a mixture of oils and butters, but none of them are overpowering or too forward. It ultimately comes off as a very meh-like smell that doesn't last or linger very long.Short of that both left my beard feeling soft, tangles were easy to comb out, but the Heavy Duty resulted in fewer stray hairs. The smell or lack of smell with the Heavy Duty isn't a big deal because most of the time after about 20minutes I don't notice the smell of the beard product anyway unless I'm actively trying to smell it.Previously I was using the regular leave-in conditioner and adding a light wax after, the Heavy Duty mostly gets rid of that so I think I may just use the Heavy Duty from now on.**The indentation in the image was done by myself, testing the consistency, thickness, and so on. The product arrived perfect and without lumps.IF yours arrived with lumps, simply melt the compound fully back into a liquid, then allow it to cool/solidify again.

Brow Of The Wild
To be honest I only bought this for one reason.I had searched the vast regions of the interweb looking for a solution to my dilemma! I know you have probably heard of the term “bed head”. That’s where you wake up in the morning and depending on how you slept your hair has been compressed and formed into a wild shape. This can take sometimes hours of volcanic heat from a professional hair dryer and tons of take your pick ( hair gel, spray, Mousse etc). Well my top covering has long gone many winters ago. I now sport a magnificent beautiful bald head. However at a certain age and I’m at it I might add hair in other places develop their own personalities. I do tend to keep a full beard or goatee but this is not what I needed Honest Amish for!You might ask then what does a middle age man with a full beard and bald head need this product for?I will tell you!My right eyebrow! I can wake up some mornings and it will be in strange positions. Sometimes I think it’s trying to hold hands with my upper eyelash honestly! I have trimmed and plucked and tried to use hair products to tame this wild beast with no avail! I suppose I sleep in my right side and this is part of the cause of the problem but now I have a solution!A little dab of Honest Amish and a few gentle strokes and that brow succumbs to my will! Now I don’t have to worry about being that guy in Guardian of the Galaxy! My fears of knocking down people with my wild brow that once poked forward have all be quelled! My wife loves the new look! She asked “did you do something with your beard” and I just smile. It’s honest Amish and my little secret!I find the smell of the product pleasing and its effectiveness. for my needs to be highly satisfying. After using it on that one wild brow I decided to use it on my beard and not thinking much of it beforehand. However looking closely I did not realize how unruly it was. I run some in gently and all those protruding beard hairs laid down like wet grass after a hurricane.I can’t guarantee you that it will work for you but it’s worth a shot if you have had the same problem.Give Honest Amish a try!

Shapes a beard nicely.
I use a bit of oil and then shape my beard with this balm and I get compliments. Not used to that.

Meh, don’t know if I will purchase this again…
I like the hold from the beeswax, helps with styling. Wish it had a better scent though, a little too gritty, and I thought the container would be bigger.

It's the best beard balm I've found to tame a stubborn, unruly beard.
I've used this for about four years. It's the best beard balm I've found to tame a stubborn, unruly beard. A slightly larger than pea-sized dab rubbed between the palms until it liquefies, then massaged into a damp to wet beard before combing or blow drying, does the deed without feeling or looking greasy, and leaves a nice sheen. It lasts all day and has a pleasant, woodsy scent. Do not overdo it or you'll have an oil slick on your shirt collar.

Perfect grooming for large, full beard
As someone with a large, full beard, I’ve tried countless products over the years and have a bathroom drawer full of stuff that isn't used! Honest Amish Heavy Duty Beard Balm has remained a staple in my grooming routine. I’ve been using it daily for many years, and it consistently delivers exceptional results. This balm excels in keeping my beard conditioned and manageable. I'm fortunate that I don't have to do much other than brush it and add this balm in. After that, I'm good for the day. Although I'm not a scientist, the natural ingredients not only soften my beard but also nourish my skin, preventing dryness and irritation. It does have a rich, creamy texture that spreads easily and absorbs well without leaving a greasy residue, a feature I deeply appreciate. I'd also say this balm stays throughout the day. It’s evident they prioritize quality, making this product a reliable choice for anyone serious about beard care. Whether just starting your beard journey or maintaining a well-established mane, this balm is worth every penny. I buy it about every couple of months. It’s an investment in your beard’s health and appearance that I wholeheartedly recommend.
