BMR Suspension SP027R - Lowering Spring Kit, Set Of 4, 1" Drop

Easy to install and really help the look of the car. Also a good price. Noise, vibration, and harshness all still reasonable too. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

I bought a 99 Mustang GT convertible as a rescue, sitting in a driveway for 4 years. Owner hated driving it, no wonder! Before height ( blue springs, unknown spec), ground to fender bottom; front 26”, rear 26.5”. After BMR with their bushings; front 26.5”, rear 27.75”. Not much lift with the front but not to worry. It’s still lowered a bit and grips with no sway but takes bumps now. Look at the difference in spring rate! A bit more lift in the rear, same thing; takes bumps, no sway. I was gonna flip it, make some coin, may keep it now. You don’t have to slam these cars to get what you want.

These were installed on a 2003 Mustang convertible V6 along with brand new oem shocks. They are very well made and the powder coating looks like it will last the rest of the car’s life. They lowered the pony about an inch. They are very stiff and for me it is an uncomfortable ride. I only drive the car occasionally and I have to make sure I do not go over any speed bumps because the exhaust system will scrape. I will be reinstalling the oem springs and sell these. They do look very nice on the car but not worth the jarring ride. I would recommend these if you like a very stiff suspension. They are not difficult to install just time consuming.

91 gt with 17 wheels. Photo is without isolators on the front but installed on the back. Will be installing them to raise the front up a little more ans help with road noise, but mine were trashed.

Love these springs from BMR! It slightly lowered my 91 convertible 5.0, giving it a real nice stance. The car sits 26” to the top of the rear wheel well and 25” in the front. Ride is firm but still comfortable, a very good value. The red coating is durable and held up to the spring compressor & pry bars during installation.
