Very flavorful, but not too spicy
Great flavor in this sauce and it was great to support a long-standing business of the KC community. This is NOT overly spicy, so do not be concerned about the Extra Hot designation.

A flavorful, hot bbq sauce that captures the depth of KC style
Gates BBQ sauce is fantastic. I have fond memories of dipping my steak fries into this sauce as a boy. Kansas City BBQ in general is unique and flavorful, Gates' extra hot has a zing and depth of flavor superior to many hot sauces that "burn" but with little taste. Gates does not put wheat in their sauce for preservatives, so if you're gluten intolerant this sauce may work. Celiac sufferers should do additional research.

Great Sauce
This is the best sauce. We live where there is not a Gates so we get BBQ ribs from restaurants and put our Gates on them. Yum!
