The plastic whisky barrel looks nice and is very light. I liked its large size, color and it has sufficient holes in the bottom to provide for drainage. Plus, the price is reasonable for what you get. But the plastic body is kind of thin so I don't know how well it will hold up to years of use. I guess time will tell.

This container is the perfect size..doesn't take over the space, but gives adequate room for full form growth!

I already have 2 of these. They work well. No heavy and there are drainage.

I bought this to put all my herbs together. I was disappointed when it came. For the price I figured it would be at least sturdy plastic. The first time I picked it up it cracked. It’s a cheap imitation. I found actual old wine barrels, cut in half for not much more at our local hardware store. They are so much more genuine real and sturdy! When they get weathered they will still look good. Unlike cracked plastic.

I underestimated the size. It’s huge! I had to order more potting soil. HA! Great depth for roots. It will easily accommodate 4 Canna risomesBought it as a patio container for Canna Lillies. The drainage holes are great. Super sturdy. This planter will last forever. It’s going to be heavy once it’s filled so I am going to put it on a T-base with casters so I will be able to rotate/move it, as needed. This will also allow good drainage.It looks great. It does look like wood at short distance. This is a good price for such a large, quality planter.
