TruffleHunter Black & White Truffle Oil Set (Super Concentrated)

I love truffle oil, but for me, the flavor of this brand is not as balanced as other brands. I believe that the advertising and description is accurate, and I should have paid more attention to the words "concentrated" flavor. While the flavor is very concentrated, I find there to be a slight bitterness and other flavor that I do not quite like in it. That said, since this is highly concentrated, while I have not been able to use it on my customary truffle flavored dishes, it is great on my Truffle Popcorn. I air pop some popcorn, melt some butter, and add some truffle oil to the melted butter (roughly equal parts of each). Pour over the popcorn and mix to evenly coat, and it comes out great, and is a crown and family pleaser.I recommend blending this in with other oils or fats prior to using to help round out the flavor.

I know that professional chefs do not like truffle oils but rather the real thing, but I have found that this oil makes some excellent dishes by using it as a base for simmering or frying smelly vegetables like onion, mushrooms or garlic, which can then be added to other sauces or soups to give an already good dish that "something extra" umami flavor which guests cannot put their finger on.I have not found a use for using synthetic truffle oil outside of frying or simmering already smelly vegetables as the naked oil gives off an unattractivd, pungent aroma.

WOW!! For the price this item is outstanding. I consider myself a good cook and was in sales for over 20 years. The presentation of the packaging is not only exceptional to send yourself (LOL) but also as a gift. The flavor on both the black and white truffle oil is delicious. My only suggestion to the owners, would be to put the white truffle oil in a white box versus the black. Makes more sense & I believe would add to the presentation! You have done a wonderful job in packaging. (Two thumbs up) I was totally impressed & excited as I opened my own package. Presentation is a big part of repeat sales.

I've been a fan of La Tourangelle truffle oil ( black and white) for years but can't seem to find it anywhere now. So, I purchased this set. I have to agree with another reviewer who warned to STAY AWAY because this oil has a very chemical industrial odor to it. Seriously. When I opened a bottle one night, my friend walked into my kitchen and said, ' Oh my gosh! What is that horrible smell!' and thought I was using a solvent for something.I can't explain the odor but it's unpleasant and it ruined my meal. It was so unappealing that I threw both bottles in the trash.

Since this is the fifth time I'm ordering this product, I figure I should drop a few lines here. First thing to note is that this is very concentrated, so just a little bit will do the trick of adding truffle flavoring to your dishes. This has been the best value for the money and best quality over all for all the dishes I've applied this truffle oil to.

This product is totally awesome! Well worth the price! A little goes a very, very long way. I put just three little drops of the white truffle oil on my sunny side up eggs and WOW! My mouth was full with intensely amazing truffle flavor ever! I love to drizzle just a little of the black truffle oil on my popcorn for out of this world truffle popcorn! I toss my oven baked French fries or sweet potatoe fries with the black truffle oil for perfect Truffle Fries! Truly worth the price! Just bought set of this amazing product which lasts me about 10 months!

This is a true 5 star product. Absolutely delightful. The difference between the white and black oils is like day and night. And oh! What divine inspiration it gives me. I absolutely love egg pasta. I usually eat it plain with just a pat of butter and a grinding of a 4-peppercorn blend: telecherry black pepper, and white, pink and green peppercorns. Could anything be better? Well, actually yes. Skip the butter and pepper blend. Instead use a dash of black truffle oil and fresh white pepper. Can you say "yummy"?

I have always wanted my own truffle oil since I am a huge fan. This is my first purchase of truffle oil and I am very pleased with the taste! I've searched long and hard, this is exact brand I will be purchasing again! The black truffle oil has a strong cent to it but for cooking purposes this works great! I made my own garlic pesto using the black truffle oil, LOVE IT! The white truffle oil is what I use after cooking or on salads and other finger foods. Little goes a long way!

Second time I have purchased this super sexy quality and tasty oil and will be ordering again once I finish this set. I have never tasted truffle oil like it. Fantastic flavour, amazing quality and delivery of the items where super speedy. I use half a teaspoon for drizzle and marinade and half a tablespoon only for seasoning( People it's double concentrated so you don't need a lot, plus it will last you even longer) Highly recommended. #Exceptional

I've now purchased this set 3 times. It's not cheap ... but also at a price point you don't feel guilty about using it. Great addition to pizza, chips and tortellini! Perfect gift for the truffle lover or the truffle curious...

Grand Prix!!! Very nice presentation, and it gives you the option to top up the bottles with good olive oil afterwords, as there are a few bits of truffle in each bottle. Love the bottles, very sexy, almost perfume/potion bottle vibe! One advice to the producer, given the btls are so pretty, i recommend the use of dark glass as the light damages the oil in time, plus is more sustainable as dark glass is easier to produce and recycle! 5️⃣⭐️

This product arrived very quickly and was packed safely and securely. I have tried the black truffle oil a couple of times and was delighted with the strength of the flavour. Only a little is required. I'm sure the white truffle oil will be equally as successful. can't recommend this product and supplier highly enough.

We wanted a strong, fragrant truffle oil and were very happy with this purchase. Excellent quality and a little goes a long way. Interesting to the aroma differences in the two oils. Makes a great gift and will buy more!
