I shopped and shopped and read many reviews before settling on this one ! It did take a good week for it to be completely flat but since then I have had no issues ! My Roomba vacuum has no problem going all over it ! It has help up perfectly ! A super easy to clean and fits perfectly ! Glad I went with this one by my sliding door !

I bought this to line my mobility scooter carrier floor so I wouldn’t get road spatter on my scooter. This was the right size for my carrier, easy to insert and tie down. I did face a challenge when I rolled the scooter up the ramp because this wanted to move forward with the scooter. I’m going to look into bolting it in place instead of using ratchet straps. Because it’s thin it may tear from the bolt holes, but worth a try.

Im very happy with my purchase because i believe i got a good deal for the price. I bought this mat to use as a runner, across the carpeted room that leads to the outside. Im not sure why others are complaining so much about several things, which i have listed and explained below: 1) the smell: yes, it smells bad but ONLY if you're actually putting your nose right next to it. So, all the bad reviews that said it had a terrible chemical smell right out of the box are not true. I didnt smell anything, out of the box, so i decided to get real close to see what reviewers were complaining about. So, in other words, you wont notice the smell unless you're looking for it. 2) needs to be aired out: Because of these reviews I decided to leave it (rolled up but standing) in the garage for 3 days. I really don't think it needed to be aired out but I decided to take the safe route, on this one. I have small kids and didnt want to fill up the room with any smell. After the 3 days, I unrolled it and put it where i wanted it, i didnt have any problems with smell. None! Again, not sure why others are complaining saying it fills the room with a nasty smell. I think they might be way too sensitive because i have a pretty good nose, when it comes to smells, and i cant get a scent off of it. 3) doesn't lay flat: although i can see why some say this, i think they are being overly picky. Im a pretty picky person but as you can see on my pics, it lays pretty flat. Yes, it is not perfectly straight (because it came rolled) but it also doesnt cause a tripping hazard like others have mentioned. Maybe it would for those that have trouble walking. Look at the pic and you can see for yourself how it lays. I didnt have to do anything to it, but unroll it, either. It's laid pretty flat from the beginning (i.e. it hasnt been there for days/weeks/months). 4) the corners stick up: i had no trouble with the corners sticking up. Especially because the mat came rolled with the pokey-side in. So the corners lay flat, as well. Overall, i am very satisfied with my purchase. It does the job just fine. The only reason I give this mat a 4-star is because the spikes do not dig into my carpet, as much as I had hoped, so it does allow movement of the mat. I don't see this as a major negative but it is a bit inconvenient to have to move the mat back to where i want it. You can see the type of carpet I have, in pics. Its a thin carpet so it may do a better job of holding on to a thicker carpet/rug. Other than this I am happy that I didnt spend more money on a mat that wouldve given me the same performance as this one.

Smells so bad, even after two weeks spread out on my carpet. It smells like dog poop. Literally. When I first opened it I looked around to see if my puppy had an accident or if he farted. Figured he farted. Nope. Spread it out and realized it was the plastic mat. Been over a month now, two weeks spread out, then two more rolled up in a closet because we couldn’t stand the smell any more. It still smells. I bought two and the frost one dissipated within 2 days. Works well, easily wiped and cleaned. Stays in place very well. Sadly we can only use one since the smell is that bad with the second one. If I went if the first one alone it would be five stars. I washed it with soap and water. It smelled still so I soaked it in bleach. Still smells. 3 stars because it is otherwise still totally usable. But for now it sits in the closet.

I gave this one star rating because of how off the description is. Mine came in great condition unlike some who received it broken. It’s pretty flexible and the spikes on the back are actually just nubs. They’re not pokey/scratchy at all. The smell on mine really isn’t that strong and I’m very sensitive the chemical smells. I’ll see how my guest room smells in the morning. The description says 26x6. It doesn’t say whether it’s inches or feet, which is really stupid. Mine is 27” wide so that’s pretty close to the 26 number. And it’s 68” long which is 5.66’. ANY product should be measured and labeled and cut accordingly. It is NOT 6’ long. To give people the best description, they should make sure each mat is made the exact same length and width and they should specify whether the number is in inches or feet. You’re better off going to a hardware store or big box store so you can see exactly what you’re working with. For $14, I’ll find a use for it.

The pictures didn't make clear, exactly how sturdy this mat is, so I took some. Wow, I'm impressed! It's like heavy duty office chair mat, with strong plastic ribs in it. The corners are square, not rounded... which is perfect for my needs. One of the bifold doors is missing on our room. It's a custom size door, not easy to replace. Nonetheless, I have a desire to keep cats out. Since I can't replace the door, I've tried other things, such as drapes, plastic shower curtains, wire shelving, cardboard... but they always chew/claw/jump their way through. I hung this mat to make a cheap sliding door, and when I did, voila! This mat resists all claws! The cats can't jump it, it's too high; they can't push through it, it's too thick. I have the bottom blocked with a cardboard box to prevent them from turning into 'pudding cats' and oozing their way through the bottom. It feels stronger and thicker than my thick office chair floor mat, which I paid over $100 for. So for the cost of two shower curtains, I have a solution that will let me sleep at night. Yay.
