Fluker's Calcium Supplement for Hermit Crabs with Honey Powder, 2 oz

My hermit crabs are picky about their food and not fans of the cuttlebone. I get their meals together and sprinkle the calcium powder on their food. It’s also good for when you give you crabs a bath. I just add a half teaspoon to the water to help strengthen their limbs. They love it

I always worry that my hermit crabs aren’t getting enough calcium and vitamins. I sprinkle a little dust over their food and they eat it no problem. They say hermies only live a few years in captivity. Mine have been alive for 5 years going strong and I definitely think this product has helped. I look at it like tricking little kids into eating healthy food. If they new it was there they wouldn’t touch it but with just a little added they are eating healthy and don’t even know. I have to keep my babies healthy!!!

It’s a decent calcium supplement but my crabs don’t seem to like the taste and will sometimes avoid eating food that has this on it. Instead I’ve just been giving them access to a cuttlebone, egg shells, and crab shells.

Since hermit crabs need calcium this is a great and easy way to supply it. They do love eating it and I always see them in their calcium dish.

My crabs love this stuff. Every time one comes up from a molt, I put a dish of this out and within 2 days it's all gone. Great stuff for their bones. Helps their bones grow and get hard. Best price anywhere!
