I can't play with out it!
**Five-Star Review for PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I recently purchased the PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for my Xbox Series X, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! The white controller with built in LEDs are not only eye-catching but also adds a stylish touch to my gaming setup. The first thing I noticed was the comfort of the controller. It fits perfectly in my hands, and the textured grips provide excellent control during long gaming sessions. The detachable 10ft USB cable is a game-changer—no more worrying about battery life or having to recharge mid-game. The length gives me the freedom to play comfortably without being tethered too closely to the console. One of the standout features is the mappable buttons. This allows me to customize my controller layout for different games, giving me an edge in competitive play. The added rumble motors enhance the gaming experience, making every explosion and impact feel more immersive. As an officially licensed product for Xbox, I appreciate the high-quality build that PowerA delivers. The responsiveness of the buttons and analog sticks is top-notch, making it easy to execute precise movements in-game.Overall, the PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller has exceeded my expectations. It’s a fantastic option for any Xbox Series X|S gamer looking for a reliable and customizable controller. I highly recommend it!---

Great value & performance!
Great controller. Wired controllers have less input lag than wireless. These have been durable & reliable for me & my kiddos!

Works better than the official Xbox controller out of the box
I can't speak to the durability of this controller, but that's a low bar to clear. I've bought five of the official wireless controllers since I got my Xbox One. One of them still works, and one is completely broken. The remaining three no longer work unless physically plugged in, and two of those have the stick travel issue. None have any outward signs of damage.Having resigned myself to the fact that wireless official controllers are a ripoff that I'll end up having to use wired anyway, I figured I might as well get a wired one. I bought this one fully expecting to return it because of the ridiculously bad deadzones, and inaccurate d-pads that plague nearly every 3rd party controller I've tried.I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. At first I thought it simply didn't work, until I realized you really have to shove that cable deep into the USB port. The opening on the controller is shaped to fit the end of the included cable, and it hard to get in there. Once it's in, it grips like a vice, and unlike the official controller, there is no way normal movements will shake it loose. So I fired up the Xbox, and loaded the whatever game was in the tray, which happened to be Call of Duty: WWII. I fully expected my character to spin in circles every time I breathed on the analog stick, or any number of other horrid defects you usually get with 3rd party controllers, but it worked flawlessly. Possibly even slightly better than the official controllers. As I said before, I have no idea how durable this thing is, but if I can even get six months out of it, it would surpass the original controller in every regard.

Decent On Sale
I purchased the simple-black version in September 2021 when on sale for just slightly under $30, as I needed a wired controller for my Xbox One.The controller is a comfortable fit for my broad hands, comes with two or three 'advanced mapping buttons' on the undersides (which I have no games fancy enough to use with, so can't rate them), and a volume control for your headphones (I use this feature frequently, and am now positively spoiled by it; I'd never want to go without again).I am a fairly casual Xbox user; the system is typically lucky if I pull it out once a month to do updates, interspersed with perhaps a couple weekends or occasional holiday-week of reasonably-heavy usage (multiple sustained hours per day). Under these conditions, my controller has held up well, though in 2023 the left joystick developed a 'right drag' that can sometimes be corrected by swirling the stick around several times. The headphone port does occasionally malfunction, and voice quality is extremely bad with old-ish games (though maybe that's my not-fancy headset, or the game's audio quality to begin with).Considering I've never seen a Microsoft Xbox controller sold for less than $60, it's probably a good buy.
