I ordered the Describe Cards -Deck 1 to use for our ESL English Conversation Clubs. They are a great resource for intermediate to advanced students. I would recommend the Describe Cards to other ESL teachers.

I use these with my middle school speech groups. Good vocabulary for feeling words.

Wonderful tool to aid my clients who have difficulty in expressing themselves in therapy. Many useful suggestions enclosed for both individuals and couples. The adjectives used are great in expressing difficult situations and creating gentle discussion about difficult topics and situations.

Wow! These cards come in so handy when I am trying to reason with my daughter (age 4) to help her change her attitude to something more positive. Also when I find myself at a loss of words when trying to teach my children to be better people, these cards make the connection between my feelings, (what I want to convey, but do not know how) to actually teaching them. By use of personal questions, these cards help my children understand how their actions effect others and themselves for better or worse. Yes, these cards and the questions on them have reach the heart of my 4 year old daughter. Now she is 5 and has become so incredibly kind and thoughtful, obviously my work is not done, and her change is not due to the use of these Describe cards alone. But they are very helpful.

I love these cards. I have used them for both individuals & families I have seen in therapy. Everyone (including children and adults) has loved them and it helps to explore relationships with self and others in a fun, non-threatening manner.

These cards are very small. Much smaller than your standard deck of cards. Definitely could have been larger.

I use these cards in my therapy sessions. These really spark conversation in session and open the door to explore clients' perspectives. Three cards have the ability to spark a 45-60 minute session.
