Merkur-Razor Shaving Brush Chrome, Pol

The product picture shows the brush in an unused condition. Brand new out of the box the hair is going to be bunched up just like the product picture, but after one use I discovered there is has just as much side flare as other brushes. Quality is good, no hair has fallen off during the first few uses so far. I chose this brush because I like the handle, I find it more comfortable to lather with its shape. The handle is hollow, which reduces wrist fatigue significantly.

Have owned the brushed metal version for 3-4 years now. The bristles have stayed put and barely sheds. Holds lather as only a top quality brush can. It simply is a superior, functional tool. Compliments the Merkur Futur razor perfectly. Why only 4 stars ?...nothing's PERFECT !

This brush really exceeded my expectations. To start, this brush is from merkur's futur line, and can be found elsewhere for at least 95$. As usual with merkur, the silvertip is supple and plush, and shaped perfectly. And as usual with badger, it smells like a wet dog at first, but it goes away in a few days. I can whip up a nice and thick lather with this quickly, on both my DR creams and my GFT soaps, and the heavy handle lends itself to be comfortable in my hand. All in all Id say this brush is an excellent value.
