PALM NAKI Small Square Palm Leaf Plates (40 Count) - Disposable Dinnerware, Eco-Friendly, Compostable and Biodegradable Plates (4" Plates)

I bought these for a jungle-themed party and they were a big hit. Everyone liked that they were sustainable, but they also look really cool and fit the theme I was going for. They're sturdy enough for a big plate of food - no one had a problem with them folding up like some paper plates do.Note that you can't wash these - if you put them in water, they will revert back to a palm leaf. No kidding - they spread out and you can definitely tell it was a large leaf. If you just have a sandwich on one, you could wipe it off with a damp sponge, but they are meant to be single use.I had a lot of plates left over after the party, and I'm enjoying using them in lieu of paper plates. I would definitely buy these again for a function or home use.

I use this product often for appetizers and desserts. I recently used it for individual charcuterie plates for a pre-set starter for our "Senior Prom" in our community. They were beautiful on the tables and all of our guests enjoyed them. PALM NAKI products are my go to for sustainable beachside catering and always make an appearance on our Luau buffet tables! Sturdy, leakproof and beautiful!

I've used these for multiple parties and events. These are a very high quality organic option great for upscale gatherings

I layered them up and they looked great. We had heavy BBQ and these worked well. They also for the theme of rustic elegant barn dinner. Loved that they all had nice variation in color and lines. So pretty!

I bought these plates because of their “wood” look for an engagement party I was hosting. We served low country boil on them. They were very sturdy, the perfect size, and looked beautiful. Also a big conversation piece as everyone chatted about how they were biodegradable. I will buy these again!! Cannot recommend them enough.

Durable but very small. There were weird black dots that I pray wasn’t mold 😅

Purchased these plates for a small wedding celebration. The price was a little steep for me, but they were beautiful! Not sure why people are complaining about "mold". Some of the plates had some darker spots on them that could maybe have resembled mold, but in reality that's just what a bamboo plate looks like. Confused about the mold comments; if I never read the comments I would have never seen these plates and thought of mold.... Anyways, beautiful plates. We did not utilize the garden/compost feature, so I cannot speak on that. Would definitely buy again for a special event, if I was independently wealthy, or if I found them on sale!

It was a good buy ~definitely elevated the event as they were very rigid and sturdy. The backside was dark wood like and very impressive- looked better than in the pictures- definitely recommended

The size was smaller than expected so returning this plates and also yhere were only 49 plates

Although I am happy that I purchased these I was a little disappointed with the consistency of quality. I understood they would not look the same but some of the edges were folded over and they didn’t have the depth of the others. I had to sort through to find the best ones for my guests. That said I got compliments on their sturdiness and fact they were eco friendly.

If you are looking for a good option for biodegradable disposable plates then these are a good option. Good size for a meal and pretty sturdy. These are a little expensive to use regularly as disposable plates, but for special events where you want something a little more fancy, yet environmentaly responsible, then these are a good option.
