This iPad Air gen. 4 protective case has the potential to work very well for kids. It provides a lot of protection, and is easy to hold. I didn't test it by dropping a new iPad Air; however, it appears that it would provide excellent "insurance" against damage in that unfortunate situation. And, I'm guessing most of us have dropped our devices and cringed when discovering the result. For the often awkward, growing hands of a child, this might be the best protective case option for your investment. (I recommend the purchase of a high quality screen protector to go with it. (That liquid retina screen deserves its own protection.)I really LIKE the turning handle (loop) on the back, which is why I purchased it. I've had a similar case before, and the grip, and ease of adjusting the angle are fantastic.HOWEVER, (and, this is HUGE ) for an adult, this case has too many limitations. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it at all. The first, and most problematic is that one CANNOT use the new fingerprint ID on the top of the iPad to open the screen. THAT'S A MAJOR DEAL BREAKER! There is NO possible way that feature will work with this case. And, that's HUGE. Also, I could not get to the volume up and down buttons, which do more than control the volume. Screenshots are out, powering down is problematic, etc. Perhaps, and I don't know for sure, tiny fingers could use these features with the case, but I can't imagine they would work adequately. This case was released ahead of the iPad Air 4. Perhaps the company didn't have the actual product to test? Unfortunate. I wish they would design a case with this handle that enabled the user to utilize the cool features of the new iPad Air 4.

The case is pretty solid, however, one to the sides isn’t hugging the iPad (10.9in, 10th Gen.). Also that same side blocks the front camera a little bit.

This is fine if you just set it up and dont touch it. The hinge for the back stand seems unsturdy because it slides out of the position i want it when any pressure applied to the screen.

I have a 3 year old daughter that i bought this for to protect her iPad from her breaking it. since I’ve had it my daughter has thrown it and stood on top of it fallen into Cement Asphalt and tile, about 2 feet drop onto Cement and Asphalt. About 4 on Tile. Have no cracks on screen at all. Has a tight fit to the iPad not that hard to install. Only thing I gotta say that’s bad is that the case had a then Area on the side of the iPad that holds the pen it just a small strip for the edge of the iPad.

BUT, has helped the IPad survive travel, abuse and love from an 8 yo. Would highly recommend, just know that hole for volume are small and easier to peel corner back than to squeeze his fingers in.

I like something a little thicker to hold as I use my iPad in my lap, not at a desk. This is not as thick as my case for my previous iPad, it was the best one I could find. I actually took my fingers behind the ring on the back for added stability.

The case is basically polystyrene. Disappointed with the look, feel and overall finish. Slots for botton don't line up properlu and there are hole and cutaways in places they are not required.

The stand mechanism is wobbly, can come apart at any time and the plastic has broken clean through so it can no longer prop up the iPad. The product's USP is the kickstand so without it, it's fit for the bin. Customer support only for 12 months and after that you're on your own. Buyer beware.

Bought for both my preschoolers (4 and 2). Stands up well. Not as bulky as some kids cases but extremely robust. Easy to fit and fits very well! A permanent fixture for our iPads.2 year old did pull the stand off but it clips back in very easily!

Overall it seemed, however, the handle kept coming loose, and I figured it would drop on the floor and damage the iPad - returned item
