These LED strip lights seem very stylish to me! The colors are vibrant, the remote control is convenient, and they add a nice touch to my space.

I needed to get an additional connection that uses the Tuya app so I could have all my light strips work through the same app - the remote was just a bonus. This was the correct product I needed and having an extra remote ended up being a huge win because it doubles as my two year old nieces favorite toy 😆

What the heck! I was a new teen in the late 1960's. Still listen to my vinyl from back in the day. Never liked the complete black light effect so I figured, maybe these would add some spice to my classic rock listening. Easy enough to put them up and the static blue is close to a "black light effect". When listening to other musical choices I just change the color! Rhapsody In Blue (Gershwin) is much more appreciated with a change in everyday lighting.

This controller does not work with the Tuya app. Why this might be important is: If you already have a Tuya light, you now need a second app. The DayBetter and Tuya apps do not integrate. I've spent several hours and multiple different methods to pair this controller with the Tuya app, but no luck. It does however pair seamlessly with the DayBetter app, so that's a plus. Another reason is: The DayBetter app has some functionality issues. I like that I can program multiple different automations to turn the lights on before I get home, dim them when it's time for bed, and gently turn on when I wake. Unfortunately, the app doesn't exactly work that way. Some of the features of the automation, like selecting a 'Scene' when the light turns on, lack control. The 'Brightness' feature does not work when using a 'Scene' for your color selection: it's only 100% brightness or no light at all. If set to 50%, the light may not turn on at all or default to 100% brightness. Try that at 4:30 AM. Also, if for example the light was on the Flame scene when turned off, that will be the color when the automation kicks in, at 100% brightness, NOT the scene you programmed. Also try waking to a vibrant, pulsing red light at 4:30 AM. If you want to change the Scene you programmed for automation, it looks like you can do that, except the app reverts back to the previous setting (it doesn't save). The entire time node needs to be deleted & started over again. If you'd like to have the light open to a certain color & intensity, use the light's color wheel on the device page to check the color & intensity that suits you, then go back to the automation page & use Color & Brightness instead of selecting a 'Scene'. Sadly, this is like most smart devices coming out of China - the device is okay, but the app sucks & diminishes the true capabilities of the device. I wanted to use the Tuya app to see if it has better, or more functional programming for the automation than the DayBetter app, but sadly, I can't do that. I'll be looking for a Tuya-eneabled controller next.

I bought this as a replacement for the one that came with the lights, which lasted about six months. This one too lasted six months. Last night, the lights came on on their own and the remote would not turn them off. I replaced the battery, issue persisted. This is exactly what happened when the last one died. I'd be ok if I got a year or two out of one, but six months is ridiculous.

I bought the extra long strip of light, so it ce with 2 rolls of strip light and 1 roll fit my son’s room! So why not use the other strip for my daughter but I needed the controller and outlet for it and bout if from the same brand and works good 😊 both kids are happy with their lights! Decent price, Brightness good, colors are good, adhesive good so far, length was longer then what I needed but made it work 😉

While it does power on with the power supply, the control simply does not work. Its companion app does not work. My lights are stuck on blue and turn off briefly when trying to change color only to turn back on to blue. Defective unit. I'd rate it a 0 if given the chance.
