Timex Ironman Men's 100 Lap Flix

I already had 5 of the Timex FLIX watches first bought around 2009/2010 (I think they are that good) and ordered this one recently as another spare when on a Black Friday offer. I bought this model of watch because I like large LCD display watches and the strap is comfortable. The controls for setting the time, date and other functions are easy - intuitive if you are used to digital watches. I think the quality of this watch is much better than many of the retro Casio and [even] retro Timex LCD watches. The one weakness of this watch is water - I "lost" one to a dip in the sea in 2017. Was that my misunderstanding of water resistance vs waterproof? I am not sure, but just bear this in mind. I still absolutely love these watches and the number I have will almost certainly outlast me.

I bought this to replace a well used Timex expedition watch I have had for years. This is fairly slim and light on the wrist, Very clear large display and the Timex quality and functionality I have come to expect. Great everyday watch, mineral glass so no scratches.

Compact but very clear. Easy to set up and use. Good quality but a bit more expensive than justified by materials and functionality.

This is an excellent watch but it is not a Flix version! Otherwise I can not recommend it more highly. Fabulous watch! Great Indiglo for night time, sits nicely on the wrist and is nice and light.

Excellent watch, simple and fumctional. All my previous versions of this watch were only replaced because the straps broke, the actual watches were still functioning, the last one i had was on its 2nd battery.

Easy to read and logical setup of the different functions

It is a marvellous watch but mine died when the battery needed changed. I think the watch shop didn't replace the gasket, so it was no longer waterproof, water got in (you could see condensation after the battery change after a day), and it died. Certainly they didnt do a water proof test. So i think its a great watch but if changing the battery try and find a good watch shop to change it. Mine only lasted 10 months.

Die Uhr ist gut ablesbar, hat eine zweite Zeitzone, die mit einem Druck abrufbar ist. Außerdem gibt es einen Timer, einen Intervalltimer, der frei programmierbar ist und 5 Alarme. Auf Wunsch piept sie zur Vollen Stunde. Die Nacht-Beleuchtung ist gut! Das Zifferblatt zeigt Uhrzeit mit Sekunde, den Wochentag und das Datum an. Ich trage diese Uhr seit bestimmt 15 Jahren und bestelle sie mir immer wieder neu, wenn ich einmal das Zifferblatt zerkratzt habe. Es ist die perfekte Uhr für alle, die keine Smartwatch möchten aber ein gutes „Zeit-Werkzeug“ brauchen. Im Laufe der Jahre ist sie übrigens preiswerter geworden.😀 Im übrigen ist sie natürlich absolut wasserdicht. Ich kann den Kauf uneingeschränkt empfehlen!!!

Great watch: easy to see the numbers on the display. Simple set-up and robust. I have had this model for the last 18 years and will continue. The only issue can be that afterbattery exchange it may lose waterproof, to avoid that ask only the proffs to exchange the battery!
