Since COVID hit... I started fixing gaming consoles, and a friend talked me into making a youtube channel with what I was doing. I have a modern i5 10th gen laptop... but the video editing REALY pushes it. I found the internal fan running full speed, and the laptop was physically getting hot. I bough this inexpensive fan pad... and now... my computer renders slightly faster, and runs MUCH cooler. I have been using it for a few months... and it has been great. Yes, you can hear the fans at full speed... but it's not very loud at all.

I don't get it. How does this have a 4,5 stars rating? I could barely feel the air flow with the unit I got, even in max speed. I could see the fans moving, but couldn't hear any noise neither feel the slightest air flow. Maybe I got a defective unit. I don't know. I returned it.

I have tried a number of cooling pads over the years. This one is the best. I like that it has adjustable fans. The lights give a nice glow in the room at night. I got a new Dell computer that was designed for gaming so the thing runs HOT. I called Dell and I guess that is normal. But I do not like to have the key pad hot to the touch.So I got a cooling pad for it.........I tried it and it is great! It keeps the temp down on my laptop. I no longer have a HOT key pad. It is still warm, but not blazing hot now. Well worth the cost. I think I will buy another for my husbands computer and give him a nice cool glow too!update: I had to buy another cooling pad for my other computer so that one also stays cool. I really like that you are able to adjust the fans to run faster or slower. The lighted fans glow brighter with the fan is fast and more dim on low speed. You also have 2 USB ports for for the fan to power source and another for another item you wish to power (if needed) Great choice !

I bought this based on the reviews. But just to give you a background, I am a touring DJ. Due to Covid, a lot of the events have been outside. Half the time, without any covering so my laptop gets pretty hot. I was worried that my laptop would overheat and shut down in the middle of an event. Fast forward to now. I've used this for 3 events. It has kept the bottom of my laptop for getting super hot as it has gotten in the past. I wish the fans were a little more powerful but it does do the trick. It plugs into your USB port and it has dial that controls the speed. I just keep it at max. All in all, it was inexpensive and does the trick.

I really like this. It keeps my laptop cool when gaming and that's been an issue for me. I will say however that the packaging was horrible. It came in an enormous box, and was not insulated inside in any way. So I am a little bit worried that if something does happen it will be from being knocked around in that huge box. I got it yesterday.

After trying multiple coolers, one thing i realized is you really cant tell whether the specific cooler works for your laptop or not unless you have right testing mechanism. In addition you need to have fans oriented in such a way that they are facing or aligning the laptop vents. So with that in mind, all i was looking for was a silent cooler. This one fits the bill. I am using on the ASUS TUF A15 laptop. I am going to buy another for my ASUS ROG 17 inch. This can accommodate the bigger laptops. The cooler is silent...literally silent (atleast when compared to others). You wont notice it because of sound. This is awesome. I had been using this for almost a month.

This cooling pad is super quiet and does a great job keeping my laptop cool while I work with it in my lap. I don't game with it, so I don't know if that would change its effectiveness. I have a 15.9 inch laptop and I work with it mostly at night, and I haven't been bothered by the lights at all. I'm glad I didn't start with a more expensive one based on the few negative reviews, because this one works great and is a great value.

and the cooler doesn't worki pluged a usb c in it and it doesn't work at all

I like the price, and its noise is acceptable. Nighttime users might prefer red to blue LEDs. It defo cools my 15" laptop, saving its fan from kicking in as often as it used to. However, it also fans my stomach. If the short middle bar, which keeps my laptop from sliding off, extended the full length, then the fan would not blow at me. I'm experimenting with a rolled up handkerchief stuck at the front, which helps.

My 13 year old asked for this he has resurrected an old laptop for his remote learning I ordered it in the evening and it came the next day my son informed me that it has taken the laptop from critical overheating to running wellHope that helps

Honestly, I'm surprised there are so many favourable reviews for this product. Despite having four fans, the output is so minimal, you can hardly feel a thing if you put your hands over them. My laptop still gets incredibly hot and I'm not surprised, I may as well have gone for a £5.99 alternative instead of paying more than twice that amount for this.Only plus points are the additional USB port and the ability to turn up or down the fan (even though on maximum it is abismally weak)

It fits under my 15" gaming laptop well, not sure it would suit 17". The angle it sits at makes it much easier to use. The fans are quiet and it has helped reduce temps a little when gaming. For the price its a great piece of kit.Higher airflow would would make it perform even better

Quality product for the peice. Very light but large enough for a 17 inch monitor. Cools well and looks good.
