Soft and comfortable. No more hurting hands.
This was the second pair that I had purchased. The first pair I purchased for my husband who was having issues with his hand, hurting after 30 minutes of riding his motorcycle he placed these on. Placing them on the handle bars were not that hard with a little soap and water they went on fine and fit great. My husband stated that the grip was soft and comfortable, and he was able to ride his motorcycle a lot longer period of time without his hand hurting, so I purchased a set for my motorcycle. I would agree with my husband they are comfortable and soft. The throttle side took some getting used to just due to it making the handlebar grips a little bigger but that is just because I have small hands. I would suggest this for anybody who may be having issues with their hands hurting after a short period of time.

Easy to install if you know how, greatly improves grip comfort!
I tend to dislike grips that are too small in diameter and grip them too hard. Adding Grip Puppies makes a big difference in comfort on a long ride. While the Amazon post says this size is recommended "except for Harley-Davidson... etc." the grips on my 2022 Street Glide FLHX measured 1.42" at the midpoint by calipers. There's a ridge at the outboard end of the grips that's larger than that but it's not a problem. I don't use hair spray, oil, water or anything like that to install these; an air compressor with a narrow nozzle is what I use. Get the end of the Grip Puppy over the ridge at the end of the grip, insert the air nozzle in the open end, pinch the end shut around it and shoot a little air into the space. The air acts as an air cushion, floating the Grip Puppy. Be prepared to push the Grip Puppy onto the grip when you start the airflow. Once you get it onto the grip to the point that pinching the open end shut isn't possible, run the nozzle tip around the edge of the end of the bike's grip and continue to push the Grip Puppy on. In my case, the Grip Puppy is about 1/4" longer than the bike's grip but I didn't trim it, just let it contract around the ridge at the end of the grip and called it good. On the throttle side, be sure your throttle has free movement to snap back to the closed position. I had to back off the Grip Puppy on that side slightly to ensure clearance. The Grip Puppies give me a larger diameter grip with a little resilience that's outstanding on long rides. Make sure you measure your grip diameter, check it against the allowable dimensions. I have Grip Puppies on my Can-AM F3 also. They tend to hold up for several years, even with the hot Nevada summers. Well worth the cost for extra comfort.

This is a heavy-duty product.
I just replaced a set installed on my 2018 Goldwing. After 8 years and 60K that set got a little shiny, so I decided to replace them. Glad to see that still have the same quality as my first set. I originally got them to reduce vibration, which they excel at, however the unexpected benefit was better throttle control as they have a slightly larger circumference. I will purchase again, probably in 8yrs as they last a long time. Great product.

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING!
I got these for my 08 Suzuki Hayabusa. My reasoning was that when I rode I would get pressure and red sores on the lower side of my palms after more than 30 minutes of riding. This is obviously uncomfortable and takes the fun out of longer rides. I installed these by putting some soapy water inside the middle, didn't have to soak them, and slid them on after 5 minutes of work each side. Installation is no issue. The GOOD: So they do work, it took a good amount of pressure off my palms and I didn't get the sores anymore and did a 400 mile trip. The BAD:these make the handle bars very thick. I have medium sized hands and it eventually caused more strain on my wrists holding onto this bulky padding. The throttle does not feel as responsive and fine when it's this big hurking handle. IN THE END: I realized it is not because the handles are too hard that I was getting these sores. It was due to the angle of sitting that put all my bodies weight resting on the handle bars WHICH IS NOT HOW IT SHOULD WORK. So I took them off, I bought some Heli-bar risers which are a little pricy around 150. They raised the bars up by maybe 1/2-1 inch and towards me more by half an inch. This COMPLETELY fixed the issue. No longer pushing against my handlebars, no hard spots on my palms and a completely different riding experience. I've put another 2000 miles with the stock grips and the heli-bars and have absolutely no issues. I would also recommend getting a good seat like Corbin, Sargent, mustang or other. These usually will be lower than stock and take more pressure off your palms as well. If you're having issues and pain on your palms/wrists while riding I suggest you fix the actual problem instead of adding more padding. My riding experience is just as good with the heli bars and I didn't have to compromise.

Grip 2023 Honda CBR1000rr
Adds thickness to the grips, feels softer while riding, and easy to install definitely recommend. Easy to install can slip while riding if installed with too much soapy water or other product would have to clean and reapply. Honda cbr1000rr 2023

Perfect for relieving hand cramps
Every adventure bike I've ridden has the same problem - the grips are dirt bike sized. I'm sure that's fine for most people, but for me that's too small, my hands cramp badly just holding grips that small for any length of time. These Grip Puppies worked wonders, enlarging the size of the grips to something much more comfortable. They're soft which helps as well. I was worried about insulating the heated grips and rendering them useless, but the heat transfers through very well. For installation, soapy water or glass cleaner works well, but if you have an air compressor that works even better, shooting some air between these and the grips allowed them to slide right on. They were longer than the grips so I had to cut them short, and I did not measure the left side correctly so it's a little short but still usable. Once these wear out, as I expect they will, I'll be getting another set and hopefully measure better.

Large hands only.
I'm giving 5 stars because it still works great, but NOT for me. I used these on my Canam, but they actually caused me more stress on my hands. NOTE: If you have small hands, these are not for you. Large hands? Perfect. I must admit, they are soft and helps with sweating, but just not good for small hands.

They’re the okayest grips ever
Maybe I expected them to be a bit more spongy, but they’re actually quite firm. It helps a little bit with vibration but not a whole lot. They make the grips fat and I don’t think I the like that. I’ll likely remove them.

Very comfortable
A little harder to put on than expected but excellent product. Great grip and very comfortable. I have an issue with my left hand (arthritis) and find my hand was cramping up in traffic using the clutch a lot, these grips have really helped.

GRIPPING PRODUCT!!
Pricey... But worth difference they make. Easy to fit, I use a tiny amount of Fairy Liquid and they slide on easily. Measure and cut with scissors before fitting. Highly Recommended
