This works great for the refrigerator in the garage without having to run a water line. Takes a bit of patience to prime the unit however once water has entered the appliances line, it easily supports the water dispenser and the ice maker. Instructions are easy to follow, the parts are sufficient for most any installation to include location of the supply bottle on the floor. Voltage is standard 110/120V 60Hz and although it makes a bit of noise when drawing the water in it's more that worth it. Great product overall!

quiet and efficient!
I installed this pump on my refridgerator ice machine. Instructions were easy to follow and it has worked flawlessly since I installed it. The pump only comes on for a few second to fill the ice tray and shuts off automatically.

Pros & Cons...
UPSIDE: I hooked this up to my fridge ice maker and water dispenser. It’s pretty loud and obnoxious sounding but it does the job well other than that.DOWNSIDE: I’ve had this for about 6 months so far. I’ve ran some bottled drinking water through it a couple times but mostly I’ve ran almost always bottled distilled water through it. After about 3 or 4 months of use I noticed some kind of buildup of maybe rust or discoloration that developed inside what looks like holes maybe for screws in the bottom of the wand that sticks into the water. That’s a downside and I plan on calling the manufacturer to see if they can send me a replacement part (hopefully free of charge) or somehow resolve this because I feel like maybe all the water sitting in there with that crud might not be clean now. Whether it’s rust or bacteria I don’t want that in my water because the whole reason I hooked this system up is to have clean bottled water come out of my fridge instead of sink water that’s been through nasty old pipes (the place we rent has very very old plumbing).

Worked for less than two months ...
I chose this pump from many others, it was delivered on time and installation was simple. I hooked it up to my refrigerator without any problems, performed the sanitization process, and it worked wonderfully, and loudly, ... for less than two months. A few days ago it just stopped pumping water and started making a low level humming/buzzing noise whenever it was powered on, instead of the loud pumping noise only when it was actually pumping water.I would give this five stars, but because of the noise level, only four, but ...One star because it failed within two months, however, I understand manufacturing issues and warranties. I have sent two inquiries to the vending and am waiting for a response. I'm hoping to get a replacement unit, I will update when I hear back.Update - I'm now on my second or third pump. The first one failed, so I had to send it back to the vendor AT MY EXPENSE, which was over $22. AFTER they received the unit, THEN they would ship me a replacement. When I received that unit, which was just the pump, it did not work - in fact, it did not work just like the first one did not work - so I suspect they just sent me the same pump or another one that somebody else returned. When I complained about that one, they were outraged that such a thing could happen and shipped me a brand new unit BEFORE I sent the one I had back. The new pump, which is probably the same product, just different branding on the outside, works as did the first one when I received it. I returned the defective pump, they paid the shipping cost.Update - The latest pump failed, I contacted the vendor, they are not at all happy and asked that I call them. The person I spoke with was very apologetic and told me they had received what I understood to be a shipment of defective pumps. I will be receiving a replacement from a later shipment. They are working with their supplier to resolve this issue. We really like using the bottled water, pumped to our fridge, so we are hopeful this latest pump will resolve these issues.Update 20 June 2017 - The current pump lasted about four months, but then it died exactly as the others had. Waiting to hear back from the merchant.

Works. where many reviews say it didn't
Installed this 13 months ago. Pumps 2-3 gallons per month into my refrigerator water and ice maker. I installed the pump in the basement below the refrigerator. It does not have a noticeable noise. Only wish I would have got the version with 2 bottles.

Works awesome. Wish I would have known about this years ago. Allows you to have good water and ice rather you don’t have a water source for your fridge or you have bad water. Highly recommend it

Excellent coustomer service when I had problems
First thing, hose leaked in the middle without touching any thing.Three weeks later the silicon to silicon fitting with a hose clamp inside pump box leaked .To my surprise the moter and electrics still work after being submerge compleatly.Tried to stop leak drilled holes in bottom of box so it can drain.Hope it keeps running until my Flow jet 4000 comes.I live on a remote island so I have to fix things. This thing is junk.
