Life saver for my car electronics
My car dashboard has only 1 USB A port, & a cigarette lighter port. Lighter port is occupied by Speed Radar. I needed 2 USB ports… one data port for CarPlay wireless adaptor, & second non-data port for a Magnetic Wireless iPhone charger. Tried several adaptors & finally settled with this USB splitter that works brilliantly with my setup. Wires are just 6”, & are hidden out of way. Worth every penny, & turned out to be the most economical amongst the options I tried.

Works well 99.99999% of the time. Also, read the instructions!
This product works well for my application.I use it to charge an iPhone and power a radar detector in my car. I haven’t used it on a PC, so I can’t comment on that.Make sure you read the instructions. Use the port WITHOUT the red band for your phone. Otherwise, your vehicle will probably not recognize it for USB use.One time the device stopped working until I shut off the car and let it sit for a bit. It seems to have a capacitor in it or something that retains a charge for a little bit when you shut off the power source. My radar detector will stay on for a few minutes after shutting down the car. I’m not sure if that isn’t part of what made it stop working that one time.Hope this helps you make a choice.

Works is the most important part
For my use and the most important part of it is that it works aside from my stubbornness of getting the two wires swapped around and not looking back at the listing as a referenceFrom experience though, I do know that the wires within cables of this size are not really meant for high power situations, it will still charge whatever device you have connected just not really fast. Also when it comes to sturdiness, the connectors will be fine but very likely the wires will break at where they go in to the connectors so do not pull out the cables by the wires, you could add heat shrink tubing to add strength to the cables“Value for money”; I will say if you have the time, these cables can be made but require the knowledge of how to use a soldering iron without hurting yourself with it and it would also take time to make it look nice, so this is simple just to buy already made and it looks nice
