Worked for my 2004 silverado 1500

I was expecting some small modifications tobe needed. O' Contrar Mon'frar, this was a perfect fit. The cover fits better than the filters. (Yes you have to cut to create the opening. Roto-Zip Bit in a Dremel was thego-to combination).

Perfect fit for my 2005 Duramax.Use a vibratory cutter to do the cutting,takes 10 min with filing…..use care!

Success! I now have filtered air that GM didn't provide. It took about two minute using an oscillating Multi-Tool to cut an opening followed by a quick hand filing to clean up edges. Quick tip - leave the last bolt in place (over the transmission hump) when removing the access cover. Simply hold the cover out of the way with a bungee cord. It's plenty flexible and goes right back into place when reassembling.

I tried to retrofit a cabin filter to my 2004 Envoy. According to the forums this cap should work, it does not at all by a long shot it's way too large. That's not the parts fault that's my fault for not doing my due diligence.Transaction wise a pleasure; cost was reasonable, it delivered fairly quickly and was complete with all hardware, if I had a full size GM SUV GMT 800 (Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, or Escalade 2004 on) this is what you need. This will not work on any GMT360.

I bought this for my 2014 Suburban LT since the cabin filter chamber was sealed at the factory and I wanted to install a cabin filter. I had to cut out the factory seal, which was a bit tight due to space limitations, but was able to do the install in 30 minutes.
