Minimalist Round 9-inch Sweeping Movement Wall Clock - White

The clock itself is very stylish- I wanted minimalist white, and with the black numerals and the subtle black inner ring it is perfect.... very architectural! The second hand is a continuous sweep and totally silent, an added plus. Actual overall diameter is 8 3/4'; numerals are 5/8". Hands make it easy enough to read from across the room (numbers are a bit small if your goal is to have large numbers). Really like it!Item arrived faster than advertised (even using Prime!), and included a personal card that encourages buyers to let them know if they have any problems so they can continue to provide good service and excellent products. Nice!

This clock is not perfectly silent - it has a whirring sound when it is placed on the wall, but it is certainly not loud and not not nearly as loud as the cheap old tick-tick quartz movements. You have to be very close to it to hear it, so the sound is no bother for me (or my wife, who can't sleep with ticking clocks). The looks are great, and the radial numbers are very sharp for many decors.

What with refrigerator noise and other sounds in the kitchen, I find this clock to be very quiet, i.e. there is no TIC TOC, TIC TOC. It would definitely not bother me if I tried to sleep in an adjacent room. BUT, this clock is NOT white. It is gray, and the numbers are black and small. The description of the clock is that it is WHITE, but this is absolutely not true. Hence, since the numbers are black-on-gray, it is difficult to read from across a 20 ft. kitchen space. I will be returning this for another.

It worked great for about 6 months, then started loosing time.Tried new battery, but still was off & even stopped after another month.It's now keeping great time in the landfill. It might just have been a lemon.

The only 9" round clock we could find. The white looks a bit clinical. I would have preferred it in a soft white or cream color

I was watching TV the other night when everyone in the house was asleep except for me, So I was trying to keep the television quiet but I couldn't hear it over the noise of the clock (in the other room!). I cannot stand the tick, tick, tick, tick, tick..... of a clock. I picked up my tablet went on amazon read reviews and purchased this clock.I opened the package, put in a battery and was AMAZED by how Q U I E T the clock it. There is NO noise whatsoever... NONE! I love the "sweeping" second hand, instead of that terrible, constant, never-ending ticking. The old clock is gone now! Hopefully this new amazingly quiet clock will last for a long long time.

Came exactly as sold, fits in a tight area due to the size.
