Terrific "large compact" wine fridge. So far, so good!
Looked at a bunch of cabinet height wine fridges, and this one seemed to meet our needs and wants the best. Thermocouple cooling doesn't get cold enough for our preferences, so I wanted one with a compressor and refrigerant cycle. Those who are OK with higher wine temps may have other options - for the lower temps I like and the size, this one was far and away the best bargain at the desired capacity. We needed a narrow form factor, 12 to 14 inches wide max, and in the range of 30-40 inches tall, to tuck in next to a standard size bar cart - see pics for size reference. We've had it installed and cooling wine now for 3 days, and I am mightily impressed. Marvelously cool, just like I had hoped. They are not exaggerating the ability to cool down into the mid to low 40s. Perfect (for my tastes). Thermocouple models will pretty much all be 52 or so for their lowest temperature at a typical home indoor temp. Note that this wine fridge is a single zone model. For wine purists who want warmer reds and cooler whites, there are more expensive models with two separate zones for reds and whites. I don't need that, this one is perfect for how I like my red wine... well chilled. Don't even start with me - I like what I like. PROS ==== > Gets very cold. Lowest I found in the price range. > Digital setting, more precision than a "warmer <---> cooler" dial. Nice feature. > Nice cool blue light. OK, purely decorative. But it is indeed cool and decorative... > Really nice size, and a decent capacity for the size. Lots of capacity levels and sizes out there - this was just what we needed. > Outstanding value. Everything else with a compressor in this size range is $220 to $300. This both met our needs and saved us well over $80 USD. > Leveling feet for imperfect floors (like ours). > Bottom row is a stand-up orientation. Nice to display two or three of the best labels, but crucial for storage if you don't finish the bottle and just want to stick the cork back in. You can't lay it on its side, it might leak. That whole "corks are for quitters" business is amusing, but the reality is that corks are for those trying to avoid alcoholism and interventions. Stand-up bottle storage is a good thing. CONS ==== > While it is as quiet as advertised, there is a low hum and - oddly - a tiny gurgle sound that comes with a compressor and coolant cycle. You can only hear either sound if the room is otherwise silent. Even the central heat here in December covers up the refrigeration sounds. Not really a ding, and not at all a problem, just something a complete review should mention. I can't think of anything else on the con side. This is a great fridge, at a fantastic price. After doing my homework and looking at a bunch of options, this was way out front as the stand-out deal and unit. Highly recommended. If this meets your needs for size and capacity, for heaven's sake, quit dithering and buy this thing!! UPDATE: I was looking at my past orders, and ROVSUN has done something weird with this product. I bought ($159 USD), received, installed, and am very much liking the 18-bottle model shown in my photos. But the Amazon page for this product is now showing a wider, shorter 16-bottle model when I click on this item in my orders. It's as if the 18-bottle model has been replace by a 16-bottle unit with nearly the same specs, but now listed for $149 USD. If I wanted to order the 18-bottle unit I have and reviewed - I don't see any way to do that now. Stupid that they would just stick a new, different item and price in where the original item was, such that now all the links you can click on go to the new unit. Why not just show the original as "discontinued" and remove the option to order it, and just add a new page for the 16-bottle shorter, wider unit. I like the unit I bought, but ROVSUN does not seem to be as capable in the online retail "how to sell stuff" space as they are in providing decent products. This somewhat calls into question the positive review I originally posted. Ye be warned...

Great size.
love this 18 bottle wine fridge. It is so quiet and I love the light up feature. We have this sitting by itself and it looks great. No need to have a cabinet to enjoy the perfectly chilled bottle of wine.

Poor quality and unacceptable seller service.
Nothing but problems with this product, it ran very noisy, then quit working the first week. We unplugged it and tried it again and it was noisy and the control panel would change temperatures on its own but the control panel is in operative. Missing screws for door handle, unit leaked on floor. Seller refuses to send prepaid return label. I do not recommend.

Update: it's a great value
UPDATED: Here is my original review, see below for an update. FedEx delivered this unit and the bottom hinge was damaged (of course, there were multiple shippers along the way from factory to my home so I don't know where the damage occurred). Shipping without the door and hinges in place would be better - if possible. I was able to bend the hinge back into alignment and the door closes correctly. As for performance: I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly this unit was ready to use. After the 3 hour settling period I plugged it in and found it simple to set the upper (45) and lower (55) temperatures, and within 15 minutes the display indicated those temps were reached. FYI: it's December and cold in my basement. I've had it for just under a week and the display hasn't changed at all. I can't measure this accurately but can say the top bottles do feel colder than the bottom ones. The racks slide out an inch or two but not all the way without really pulling them which is good for safety. As for 33 bottles: you can fit 15 on the top racks, 19 on the bottom racks, and 5 more at the bottom of the fridge where larger bottles are meant to be stored, so that's 39. I even have 2 bottles of Prosecco in the top and those bottles are a little larger. In the photos you'll see I left one rack empty and placed a small bowl of water there (for humidity per the instructions). I intend to provide another rating in the future after I've had the fridge longer. So far, very pleased. Update (after a month of use): it's now 17 degrees Fahrenheit outside and this fridge is in my uninsulated basement. The 55 degree portion of the fridge has dropped to 51 which is perhaps to be expected as it's so cold outside. Will update again next summer. UPDATE: I've now had this for a little over a year, from cold winters through a very hot summer. Still working great, and you should expect the internal temp to drop a few degrees in the winter and go up a few in the summer. Other than that it works very well and definitely can store more bottles than advertised. It's also very, very quiet.

LOVE IT 18 bottle wine fridge
Arrived right on time in perfect condition. I set it to 45 deg. and in 20 min. it was there. Holding steady at 45. Very low noise. Perfect size to fit in any small space. I wanted to put cans of soda in it also but the racks will not hold soda cans. I cut down an old shelf out of an old firdge. and it fit perfectly in the slots to hold about 16 cans of soda. I took 2 racks out for this, but can still hold 11 bottles of wine and 16 cans of soda !!!!!! PERFECT. If you have all the stock racks in place, it will not hold the larger bottles of wine, but there are 3 places in the bottom for them. The light goes off by itself after a few minutes. It doe's not stay on all the time, that's good. There is a light button to turn it on and off. So far this seems to be a great wine/soda chiller. I would recommend this model to anyone.
