Great Printer
Really great printer for on the go printing and picture quality is pretty great. It’s versatile and very easy to use and connect to my phone. The printing paper is good quality as well. It does have to cool down after about 5-6 prints but it doesn’t take long at all so it’s not a problem for me. My only issue is I wish the battery lasted longer but just about everything nowadays has usb-c charging so I can charge it wherever I am, even in the car.

Simple, Portable, and Great for Creative Projects
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The KODAK Mini 2 Retro portable photo printer has been such a fun addition for printing memories instantly from my phone. Setup was quick and straightforward—connecting via Bluetooth took only a minute, and the app is easy to navigate even for first-time users. The print quality is surprisingly good for such a small device. The photos have that classic, slightly nostalgic look with decent color accuracy and clarity. It’s not professional lab quality, but that’s not really the point—this printer is all about convenience and charm. I really like the compact size. It fits easily in a drawer or bag, making it perfect for travel, events, or scrapbooking on the go. The included 38-sheet pack is a great starter, though I definitely recommend ordering refills if you plan to use it often. One thing to note is that printing can take a minute or so per photo, and the cost per print is a bit higher than traditional photo printing. However, the instant gratification and portability more than make up for it. Overall, this is a super fun gadget for capturing memories, journaling, or creating photo walls and gifts. It’s especially great for kids, parties, or anyone who loves physical photos in a digital world.

Great for the price and the novelty of it!!
This thing is SO awesome! You have to get an app to use it, and the pictures don’t always fit quite right into the frame it provides, but it’s incredibly easy to use! I got it because I was taking a field studies class where we had to do write-ups on different species and ideally draw them. Well, I cannot draw, and tracing was becoming a MAJOR deterrent to me doing these assignments, so I got this to cheat the system lol. I’d further milk it by putting multiple pictures together in a different app, like one on top and 2 on the bottom, and printing it as one picture so I’d have 3 out of 1 thing of film, and cut and tape them however I wanted after. The app has an option for this, but I didn’t like how it didn’t utilize all the space, so I did it manually. The quality isn’t too bad in my opinion and you can really save on film by combining little pictures. One printed pic is about the size of a credit card, so beware if you wanted something bigger. I don’t mind their size :) it served its purpose very well!! Aside from school work, I just think it’s so cool to be able to get a physical print of any picture on my phone in a few seconds!! I read complaints of people saying it took a long time to print? Do they not have 30 seconds of time? Do they not remember the days before phone cameras, and having to take your camera to a physical store and wait an hour (at best) to get your photos, of which some store worker just saw all of? I find that bizarre. It clearly states that the pic goes in and out 4 different times to apply the different color layers. It’s not like a Polaroid where touching it immediately afterwards can ruin the picture, either, it’s good to go right after it’s done printing. One cartridge has 10 photos on it, after which it’ll tell you when it’s empty and to put a new cartridge in. So each box, which has 30 photos, actually has 3 cartridges. The color isn’t always super spot-on but it’s definitely good enough for me!!!! For example, my classmate saw me entry on the American dipper, a chunky lil gray bird with flesh colored legs, and commented on the bit of blue hue lol, I was like, nooo it’s sooty all around, but I get why you’d think that from the picture alone. Different pics will come out in differing quality but I honestly think it’s pretty damn good for like $85 total- the printer and the film that comes with it (30 in each box I think and if I remember correctly, the printer actually came with a cartridge in it, so it was 70 photos total).

Kodak, why do you make it so hard for us to love this great little mini photo printer?
I am extremely happy with the color quality of the printed photos (thus 4 stars) but disappointed with the setup and photo editing app. PRO 1. This is a dye sublimation photo printer. The quality of the printed photos is much better than the Zink paper photo printers. The colors are vibrant in comparison to Zink photo printers. I have printed about 20 photos and am very happy with the color quality. I have not had to reprint any of the photos like I did with my HP Sprocket. 2. The photo paper and ink come in one cartridge that prints 10 photos. Surprisingly, the cost per photo is much less than other small photo printers - especially if you choose the multipack option. CON 1. I came very close to returning the Mini 2 because of connectivity issues. The set-up asked to connect to all devices on my wifi. When I declined, the set up quit. Usually I would connect my devices through System/Bluetooth on my iPhone. In this case the Kodak printer never appeared as a found device. I ended up going through System/Apps/Kodak Photo printer where I could toggle on bluetooth. Once that was done I could open the photo editing app on my phone and touch the tiny bluetooth icon at the top of the screen. This connected the bluetooth turning the icon from red to yellow. The printer must be charged and turned on in order to connect. 2. There was no need for the setup to be so difficult just because I did not want to give permission for Kodak to connect to all your home devices. 3. The paper/ink cartridges are not environmentally friendly. 4. The paper is not sticky backed which means I have to glue the photos into my journal 5. I am very disappointed with the Kodak Photo Printer App. There are very few edit options. The sticker options are few and very amateurish. This app lags far behind the HP Sprocket or Cannon Mini Photo editing apps. Come on Kodak. You have this nice mini photo printer. Don't drop the ball with the photo editing app.

Better than expected
Pros: 1. When it works, the photos look great. 2. The film is affordable, especially when bought in bulk. Cons: 1. Inconsistency. Occasionally misprints can happen depending on the cartridge. Overall 5 stars, why? Despite the occasional misprint, I still give this 5 stars. The print quality is genuinely good, and the low cost of the film helps offset the rare wasted print. In my experience, the inconsistency seems more like a limitation of packing this kind of technology into a small device, rather than poor design. The Kodak Mini Retro 2 does exactly what it’s meant to do. If you’re looking for an affordable way to print small photos—whether for journaling, scrapbooking, or just casual use - this is a great option.

High-Quality, Instant Prints with a Fun Retro Feel!
I purchased the Kodak Mini 2 Retro photo printer earlier this year, and it’s become one of my favorite gadgets for capturing memories on the go. Whether it’s family gatherings, vacations, or scrapbooking projects, this compact printer delivers excellent photo quality in just a few moments. The 4PASS printing technology really sets it apart—photos come out dry to the touch, with rich color and detail, and a protective layer that keeps them from fading. I’ve noticed that prints from this device are sharper and more durable compared to traditional instant printers. The printer is incredibly easy to use. Setup was quick, and connecting via Bluetooth with my phone was seamless using the Kodak app. The app allows you to edit, crop, and add filters or text before printing, which adds a fun, creative element. The size is super convenient—small enough to carry in a bag or backpack, and the retro design gives it a nostalgic charm. The 68-sheet bundle is also a great value, ensuring you’re stocked up for many print sessions. Pros: ✔ Excellent photo quality with 4PASS printing ✔ Fast and dry-to-touch prints ✔ Durable, smudge-proof finish ✔ Easy Bluetooth connection with smartphone ✔ Compact and stylish retro design ✔ Great value with 68 included sheets Cons: ➖ Slightly slower print time (about 50 seconds per photo) Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a portable photo printer that delivers high-quality, long-lasting prints with a stylish retro vibe, the Kodak Mini 2 Retro is a fantastic choice. It’s reliable, fun to use, and produces professional-looking prints right from your phone. Highly recommended for families, creatives, and memory-makers alike!

📸 Fun, Compact, and High-Quality Prints
The Kodak Mini 2 Retro photo printer has completely elevated how I save and share memories. If you love physical photos but don’t want the hassle of going to a photo lab or using a big printer, this little device is a perfect solution. I am able to instantly print photos to share with my friends or family immediately. I enjoy being able to put current and up to date photos in my office of my little family and our fur babies. It's an old school polaroid abilities mixed with today's technology. ✅ Pros: ✔️ Great Print Quality with 4PASS Technology: The 4PASS dye-sublimation process produces sharp, vibrant, and smudge-proof photos. Colors are rich, skin tones look natural, and the prints have a professional feel despite being only 2.1x3.4 inches. They also feel durable and resistant to fading over time. ✔️ Compact & Travel-Friendly: This printer is small enough to fit in a bag or backpack, making it perfect for trips, parties, scrap booking events, or even journaling at a café. It doesn’t feel cheap either—it has a retro vibe that’s both nostalgic and modern. ✔️ Easy Bluetooth Pairing & App Use: It connects smoothly with my iPhone (and Android tested too), and the Kodak app is easy to use with fun editing tools, frames, filters, and layout options. You can crop, add text, and preview before printing, which is super helpful. ✔️ No Ink Mess: No need to deal with separate ink cartridges. The all-in-one print cartridge system is clean and quick to load, which is great for non-techies or kids. ✔️ 38 Sheets Bundle = Lots of Memories: The included photo paper bundle is a bonus—you can get started printing right away. I’ve used it for journaling, mini scrapbooks, and creating physical photo albums for friends. ⚠️ Cons: Print Speed Is Slow but Worth It: Each photo takes about a minute to complete (since it goes through multiple passes), so it’s not ideal for bulk printing. But the quality makes it worth the wait. Refills Can Add Up: Replacement cartridges aren’t super cheap, so just be aware if you plan to print frequently. ⭐ Final Rating: 4.8 / 5 The Kodak Mini 2 Retro is a compact powerhouse for anyone who loves physical photos. With premium print quality, a sleek design, and an easy-to-use app, it’s one of the best instant printers I’ve used. It’s perfect for travel, gifting, or just adding a personal touch to your favorite moments.

Not for the impatient people. Not worth the hassle.
To give an honest opinion, this printer is subpar at best. The battery life is genuinely awful. It takes 20% per print, and even while charging and printing at the same time, you'll still have to wait for it to charge up. It overheats very quickly after 1 or 2 prints in a row. It wastes a lot of prints by "malfunctioning" when nothing is even wrong with it. It is portable but doesn’t make up for its other issues. I’ve had better experiences with other printers. There's a white tab at the end of each photo after printed that has to be removed (don’t know why it's there). Sometimes the photo quality appears darker than the actual picture. Set up was easy but like I said, it dies quickly so you keep having to reconnect and fix everything. It doesn’t come charged so you have to charge it yourself. It takes a while to print (photos pass through 4 times before being ready, I’ve never had a printer do that). Theres honestly better printers to spend your money on. Giving this two stars just for the fact that it actually prints photos, but not worth the hassle or the time it takes to even print the photos.

Fantastica!
Bella e facilissima da utilizzare. Le foto sono piccole, ma con colori ben definiti: stampa esattamente quel che si vede nel telefono. Sono molto soddisfatta dell’acquisto.

Buyers beware
Ridiculous product. Got my printer today and wasted 3 cartridges due to paper jam with only 2 useable printouts. Almost a miracle for photos to be printed properly. Do not waste your money on this.

Moments Made Tangible
I tried out the KODAK Mini 2 Retro for the first time yesterday, and I'm honestly hooked. I used it as part of my letter-writing hobby—printed a few snapshots to tuck into notes I was sending to friends in Kansas and Melbourne, Australia. It added such a personal feel, and the prints came out beautifully vibrant and crisp. It's compact, super easy to use, and the included photo paper means you can get started right out of the box. There's a bit of a pause needed after printing a handful, but it didn't really bother me. For something this convenient and satisfying, it's absolutely worth it. Feels like the perfect bridge between digital moments and real-life mementos.

Great
The product is amazing ..the photos are having excellent quality ...super easy to use and handle ...anyone wants to buy go for it ..but as mentioned ,you won't recieve 68 sheet ..instead you will be given 30 sheets along with 3 cartridge, each one having 10 sheets ..and after 3 prints charge will quickly drop ..but you can resolve that by keeping the printer on charge while printing..
