UPDATED Second rod 7'2" real seat
I bought 2 rods at a different time first was the 7'2" ML on february26th, it is ok but not real 7'2" is only 7' but that is ok. then on March 9th I ordered a second rod 6'6" M fast I had to wait 8 days to get a lot confusion with shipment, any how today I got it but when I checked the rod part of the glue was over the guide frame and it was rough it could damage my line, the rod is well constructed but the quality control is not there yet, not true measures and damage guides, will think twice before I ordered a replacement, I wanted to like this rod but was disappointed for shipping and qualityupdate:I ordered a second rod 7'2" ML because the first one is excellent and both perform the way we wanted favorite rod now if they have a 6'6"ML I will order came well wrapped and protected4-15-23 After 6 month I was going to use the rod and the 2 part seat came loose I don't know how are going to fix it

Might be the best rod under $100.
I've been fishing for over 60 years & have had many different rods, reels, etc of various price ranges. I bought this rod to replace one I broke and have to say it punches way over its weight. Light and very sensitive. Casts really well. Not much to dislike although I'll say the handle probably isn't for you if you have really large hands. At this point I have to say that this is quite likely the best rod under $100.

Incredibly Fragile!
This is the most brittle and fragile rod I have ever owned. 30- ton carbon? Seriously? Don’t get me wrong, they look and feel fantastic. In fact, I liked the lightweight ergonomics and aesthetics so much that I ended up purchasing eight of them. Huge mistake. If you’re a bass fisherman, then these will probably work, as long as you never plan to fish with them in saltwater. I broke two rods my first trip back saltwater marsh fishing. The first big redfish that I hooked eventually made a run towards my kayak and the rod snapped like a twig. At first I thought it was an isolated incident, or perhaps just a freak angle. 20- minutes later, another Cadence rod snapped even easier than the previous one did. Before anyone states that big reds are notorious rod breakers, I can emphatically state that most ordinary rods can handle a hundred reds before breaking. Not the first time out and especially not one with a 30- ton rating. Unfortunately, I will have to relegate the remaining survivors to strictly bass fishing duty. Buyer beware!

Nice rod
This is a good, sturdy, sensitive rod. Flipped a 5lb largemouth onto the bank of the pond I was fishing without any problems. I love Cadence rods. I own a few of them. This is similar to the CR5 spinning rod. However, the 7', MH/Fast rod I got was not the full cork grip. It was the split grip and I prefer the full cork grip. I found with the split grip, my right hand covers the carbon? part of the reel and on those hot 90° summer days my hand sweats so much that the rod likes to slip in my hand. I don't have that issue with the CR5 7", MH/F rod with full cork handle.

Super light and sturdy Rod
Wanted to try a new rod since the ones I have are more for "heavier fish", and this was a great choice. The packaging was really good and putting the rod together was quick. The rod had little to no blemishes and the overall look is very cool (i know look don't matter much in fishing, but I do take it into consideration)Handling this rod is super easy and it can really hold weight, I put a 20 Lb mono line on it and casting is super smooth. On top of that, the quality of the rod overall feels very good and almost like any other premium rod.I would recommend this rod. Very pleased with my purchase.

Bent guides
Package was delivered and looked fine on the outside. The inside also looked really well protected but when a was looking at it, I noticed 3 of the guides bent to the point it was touching the rod. I bent them back and it looked like two of them has a break in them. This sucks because everything else looks amazing and this being my first time purchasing a rod as a new angler, I couldn’t wait to hit the local ponds. I’m tempted to just use it anyways but the situation sucks. Other than that the rod looks and feels amazing!

Well-balanced rod with power!!
After landing a 13” bass on my Lew’s UL combo and loosing a massive catfish on a separate fishing trip on my other Lew’s rod combo (Wally Marshall ML) I realized I had to upgrade. I don’t target lunkers but I realized I had to be better prepared! After much research and soul-searching I picked out Cadence’s Vigor Rod and their C5 reel. For portability it had to be a two-piece. Since my other spinning rods are under 6” I wanted a Medium in 6’6” which Cadence had.The balance and backbone of this rod impressed me from the start. I have small hands and am a petite 5’1”. I had no problem flipping the bail; I cast with my right hand and switch hands to retrieve with my right.Price point was right in line with what I wanted to spend! As you can see, it’s a winner!
