I was doubtful that this fish oil would affect my dog very much. My dog had been itchy recently, and I decided to try several different methods of relieving his itchiness before resorting to medication, this oil being one of them.After two weeks of adding one pill to his breakfast (poking a hole and squeezing the contents) his coat became unbelievably shiny and SUPER soft. For the four years of owning my dog, he has never been so soft! He's a cattle dog with very thick and coarse guard hairs, so I didnt know he had the potential of being this soft!He already has a great diet and his coat was already shiny and not dry, so this big of a difference was a pleasant surprise!His itchiness has also gone down considerably.If you're debating adding this supplement to your dog's diet, do it! Just be patient and give the oil plenty of time to work.

I have a Boston Terrier with mild to moderate skin allergies. I have been using this product for him for years and love it. His skin used to dry out and flake at times and he has seasonal, environmental allergies. Now, his coat is super shiny, his shedding is at a minimum and no more flaking. His allergies are also kept under control.I love that this product has a veterinary recommended dose of Omega 3's and also has antioxidant supplements as well. This is actually what my veterinarian recommended for him and after doing my own research, have found to be the most natural form available with this level of ingredients. It also is at the most reasonable price point, which is even better!For those worried about any fish oil smell... I wouldn't recommend puncturing and squeezing over food. I just pop it in a pill pocket and he's good to go. No mess and no foul odors. There are not even any fishy burps which other products claimed to have.I am very picky about what I give my little guy and I highly recommend this product!

I know people like giving dogs a dose of fish oil to help with there skin and coat. I should have paid closer attention. I thought I ordered fish oil treats. Once I opened them up I realized it’s a normal fish oil pill. Which the dogs HATE, the taste, smell and everything about them. If I didn’t have 5 dogs I would just open the capsule and put one in the bowls. But that’s not an option because our dogs share off the same bowls. So instead of wasting these two full bottles I found a better way to give my dogs them. I cut up a hot dog and stick the pills in it. As I give each dog one I have to tilt there head back so they can instantly swallow it. Otherwise they will chew it and spit it back out. From now on I will still buy the same milligram but they will be the fish oil pills for humans. It’s the same as long as your giving them the same dose. But the best part is I don’t have to spend not anywhere close to what I had to spend on these. Fish oil really has helped my dogs dry skin, the shedding and shiny as can be hair.

So far, so good. I bought these for my 5 yo German shepherd who has itchy skin. I give home two pills every morning. I wrap them, in cheese so no problem. I guess it's almost two weeks now and he's itching less and has perked up quite a bit. So the added vitamins seem to benefit him. I will buy again.

I received my new guide dog in May. These came with him and I have used one a day since. He is a male black lab. His coat is absolutely beautiful! It is a tiny bit longer fur for a lab, but so soft and very shiny looking and feeling. He takes them in his food with no problem at all, but then again, labs eat just about anything. They have no fish smell whatsoever. He does shed quite a bit still, I brush him every day. Am going to start giving him a pill twice a day and see if that helps. I know it is a great product or guide dog schools wouldn't be using it on their $60,000 guide dogs! Definitely recommend!

Dog has beautiful coat, and this didn't help at all. Didn't stop the itching; needed steroids for that. She willingly downs it, so that might be a good sign . . . but she's more enthusiastic about honker turds, and I'm not so sure those are of any benefit at all.

Give one every morning to the doggo now and make him think he's getting a treat. Sits down, catches it in the air, easy.And we have noticed within a week he is not itching and scatching as much, this is a doggo with a big backyard and is at the beach at least once a week.Definitely recommend, remember, it's a treat!
