These are just what I was looking for! They are 1 inch wide and about 14 inches long. If you wrap it to use the whole 'hook' part it is about the size of a large watch band (about 2 inches in diameter). Wrapped all the way to minimum usage it is about 1-1/4 inches in diameter (about 3 fingers).They are very thin; thinner than the stuff made by "velcro". Overall the quality is unexpected and I feel it will hold up to a few hundred cyclings of stick/unstick.The buckle is good, thick nylon and can probably handle 200 pounds if using two straps used to break it. More than enough for fishing or wires. The straps may hold up to that much as well.The joints are ultrasonicly welded in a 12 by 5 dot matrix CONSISTENTLY. I need a couple of them modified to fit the smaller ends of my fishing rods, and I will be using the sewing machine with about 4 rows of straight stitch.Overall I am impressed with 10 straps for 8$ of excellent quality. Hey the plastic bag they come in are also snazzy!With free standard shipping, I received them in 4 days.

I received these hook and loop cable tie down straps a few days ago and I already have put them to use. I wanted one of them, and I am using one of them, to secure my pump to my bicycle frame so it wouldn't rattle any longer. They are one inch wide and twelve inches long which makes them perfect for a number of uses. They are great for tying electrical, or electronic cords together. Also, they work perfect for wrapping around coiled cords, ropes etc. to keep them from tangling or unraveling. As many things as you can think of, these are good for. They are of good quality and I expect they will last for quite some time. What more can I say, they are simple hook and loop cable tie down straps.

I depended on this product for attaching air bottle to my walker and shopping bag to my cart. One of the hook parts fell off the plush end and left my bag hanging by one strap. If that had been my air bottle it might not have turned out so well. I have delegated them to non vital uses and bought another brand for tough ones. But they are really good for anything not really heavy. They stay firmly wrapped and give a good feel of attachment.

I use these for non-heavy duty use. I strap together excess cabling and have started using one to secure a miniature notebook that didn't come with a clasp. So far I'm very happy with the purchase. They don't exactly scream premium quality but for the price point I wouldn't expect that. They're extremely sufficient if you use them smartly.

I find uses for these all the time

On the fence about this. They did what they are supposed to do, it's that I tore the first four in half trying to tighten them down. Now I just don't trust them.

I used one to strap on an extra magazine for my 22 Hornet rifle -- just strapped it onto the rifle sling. It's still there, ready to use.. Who knows what other uses I'll find for them. It really great this product is on the market.

it is ok for light use, I used it on the flip down windshield on my Viking and it last about 2 days.
