Bought for myself
If you do a lot of cutting of fabric, then these are the scissors you need. Sometimes I find it hard to grip and cut fabric for a long period of time. These are wonderful. For every cut it spring right back into action. Very easy to use. I would but these again.

These are Awesome!
I've been doing rag quilt items for several years and I have suffered from sore hands and bruised fingers. In fact, the pain caused by snipping the edges of my handmade items caused me to stop making them for about a year and a half! Then, one day, I stumbled upon these rag quilt snip scissors and thought I was in heaven!I got them in the mail and started using them right away and after about a foot of snipping, the spring action stopped working (they are supposed to spring open so the only work your hands have to do is close them). So I was having to force them open and then snip, force them open then snip, repeat repeat... So, I let out a sigh of frustration and my husand asked me what was wrong. I showed him that they working springing open like they were supposed to. He grabbed them from, inspected them, and then wisked them away. Well, my Mr. Fix It hubs found the solution: he put a tiny tiny dab of WD-40 at the bolt point (you have to put the dab below the bolt point on the metal part when the scissors are in an open position) and then he repeatedly opened and closed the scissors until the WD-40 worked its way into the bolt. He then used a paper towel to soak up any excess lubricant and tested the scissors out on scrap fabric and they worked like a miracle!!! So I finished the 6 other items I had waiting to be snipped and they continued to work without any problem! And even now, about a month later, and numerous projects later, they are still working like a dream! I have since had him lubricate all of my scissor bolts and now they all work better tha before! So, give these a shot and if the bolt starts to stick, but a pin-point sized dab of WD-40 as close the bolt as possible and work it in, then use a tissue to clean up any excess, cut some scrap fabric to make sure the lubricant is all soaked up, and work away!

Just what my hands needed
I have been making a lot of rag quilts lately and needed a pair of scissors that didn’t put so much stress on my hands. These scissors work perfectly for that. They are sharp and are lightweight enough that I can use them for quite a while before my hands are screaming at me. I’m definitely going to buy another pair as a back up!

Works great, but make sure to use them safely
These snips saved me hours of clipping rag quilt seams. I gave it four stars in ergonomic and comfort because they're great but there's nothing in this world that could make snipping seams for hours a comfortable experience and sometimes, I struggled to find the best way to hold them. Nevertheless, I would absolutely purchase these again.HOWEVER: Keep these things away from children and be extra careful when using them. They're fantastic at cutting through multiple layers of thick fabrics and so I wouldn't be all that surprised if they could take a finger off.

Great for clipping rag quilts
I bought these to clip the seams for rag quilts and they did not disappoint! On this quilt I used flannel for the front, middle and back. I was able to clip the center seams all together (all 6 layers) at a time. I thought I might have to do one side and then the other but nope, I was able to do all at once.I have made two quilts so far and maybe over time they might dull but for now they work great!
