Excellent product! Top-notch quality & construction & looks spectacular! I have them hanging under my 50' long back porch. Lots of compliments from friends & neighbors. The hook hole at the top of each fixture allows for hanging on hooks or attaching to a hanging wire. I used multi-colored (blue, red, green, amber) S14 LED bulbs from Novelty Lights in them. Before I acquired enough of the LED bulbs, I tried some CFL bulbs, most screwed in ok, but 3 took some jimmying to get to work. Did not have the problem with the S-14 LED bulbs. Remember to always use a small amount of petroleum jelly on the bulb threads when screwing them in, especially outdoors, so they don't crud up and get stuck over time.

I've been searching for good quality outdoor string lights for a while and have returned several products to retail outlets that have been far below the quality I wanted. These are great, I've only just got them but the actual string/fixture part seems very solid and durable. I only deducted a star because several of the bulbs did not work or were cracked on arrival. Top marks for everything other than the bulbs.

Awesome heavy duty product. This is the only string I found that spaces the lights 2ft apart. All other strings seem to space lights 3ft apart.I love it that the sockets are standard size, meaning a regular household light bulb can fit in the socket. You can use either conventional bulbs or LED bulbs.Btw this product actually came with light bulbs which was a nice surprise! They are small warm colored bulbs, and they are bright enough to light up my BBQ grilling area so that I can effectively see how the meat is looking as I'm cooking.Oh yes, you can also leave some of the sockets without bulbs and the rest of the lights will still work!

Unboxed lights and installed to find out 3 bulbs did not work, anything you do to help????

Good product ... two sets order at seperate times, both sets were missing the bulbs.

4 sockets would not let me screw in bulb without fear of breaking bulb in process. Several more were difficult but eventually went in. I have not tried again with a more substantial bulb and gloves. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Great lights. Heavy duty cord. Ordered 2 sets. One was perfect, one had 2 bad bulbs. Amazon's service was great and they had no problem replacing the bulbs quickly.

The pre-lit string lights just don't produce enough light for our needs. 1W or maybe 2W per light just was useless. Got these, purchased a bunch of edison style 8W LED lights and bam, you could read in the back yard at night.
