Buying & Restoring Hand Tools

This is a reasonably good video. The only thing I wish was different is that the video is not really an HD resolution like most video now is. The gentlemen (Ron Herman) that does the instruction/explanation is pretty good and acceptable to listen to.Only other main point is that the restoration aspect of the video is to restore tools into user tools. This video is not for someone that wants to restore tools for a collection.Some pretty haggard tools that really look like they are completely done are brought back into a very useable condition. Instruction shows/discusses some of the points of disassembly and cleaning different types of tools. I'd say the instruction is very honest and straight forward about what is worth working on to save and make useable and what you may want to just chuck into a bin.The video is on two DVDs for a total of about 6-hours of instruction. I didn't try to watch six straight hours but in chunks and bites it's reasonably watchable. There are well labeled chapters if you just wanted to go back and look at the specifics on say a hand brace or hand drill, etc.My copy came direct from the publisher.
