Great planer. Very quiet smooth .lightweight..You have to buy the batteries and vac bag separately.Good buy though. I'm happy .

Reliable and sturdy
I have a number of Einhell cordless power tools. I bought Einhell in favour of hugely more expensive products like DeWalt and Makita because I'm getting on a bit and might not last as long as the tools would! I have found all the Einhell tools I have to be robust and reliable and as a serial DIYer give them a lot of work.The planer is my latest acquisition and I am very satisfied with it. It is light, accurate and comes with a couple of useful accessories to help obtain a better quality result. Like most power tools in the range , the planer is better used with a 3 or 4ah battery.I don't know how it would last taking a daily hammering on a building site but for a serious home user it is excellent and of course the portability of cordless tools speaks for itself.
