Why so expensive? They are 2x more/lb. than my closest grocery store, and 4x more with shipping! Why so much? Do they have gold in the center?

Hi, I encourage you to buy from the grocery if prices are good. You are paying me for getting the apples (some I have most the time), packaging the apples and shipping the apples. I make very little off of three pounds of apples, believe me. It is actually more of a pain than gain situation on small orders of apples. Golden delicious are golden, but edible gold. I am in the range of sellers on amazon, not excessive at all. thanks for your inquiry.
