My kids and I have been enjoying reading these. They are well made but shorter than I had hoped. Each one is about 5-10% the length of the unabridged versions. So 90-95% less.

This is perfect for introducing a young reader to Jane Austen. My 3rd grader is obsessed and has no trouble with the reading or comprehension.

Review from my daughter who read these books:I loved reading the Jane Austen Children's Stories (Easy Classics) 8 Book Box Set! Even though the stories were written a long time ago, they were still really fun to read. My favorite book in the set was Pride and Prejudice because the characters were really interesting and the story was exciting. I also liked Emma because it was funny and had a happy ending. The books were easy to read and understand, but they still had lots of big words that helped me learn new vocabulary. The illustrations were really pretty too, and they helped me imagine what the characters looked like. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book set to other kids who love reading and want to learn more about classic literature.

I got this as a gift for my friend's daughter's birthday. My friend loves Jane Austen so I knew she would love to read these to her as her daughter grows. She was so excited! They seemed very good quality too.

I bought this for my niece- so that perhaps she could share my love of Jane Austen with me, but yeah, I ended up keeping it for myself (35yo) and will order a second set for her

My daughter is named after a character in Emma. I was so happy to find a set that she Could read and understand at the age of eight. And the audiobooks are awesome super easy to use. What a wonderful set
