With this tool i can protect my plants from over watering

PH meter not working, hydrometer and solar meter working though not sure about readings

Was not working as the needle was stuck below the needle stopper, works fine after a small repair

I have tried 2 of this same pH meter (thought first is showing me wrong measurements and got replacement, which also gave wrong measurements again) and here's my review of it. pH: - Not accurate at all • I put it in a soil which I know is mildly acidic of less than 7, the reading was only showing 8 (even If I let it sit in that spot for a day, no changes on the pH reading). • I then tried it with a mild dilution of lemon juice and I got a borderline 8-7 • I then tried it on direct strong acid (Dettol) and I got a reading of 6. So, the pH works, but it is not accurate in anyways practical. Most plants like a 7~6.5 and using this thing which has a higher deviation in measurements is not recommended. Light: - Not accurate • I left it in soil which I know would get a good amount of light and needle didn't move anywhere. • To test if it is working or not, I placed a intense torch light on the light sensor and the needle started moving around, but it is not sensitive enough to measure sunlight. Moisture: + Only thing that works. • I left it in a dry sand and got no movement, this good. • I left it in a soil which was watered previous day, needle pointed wet, this is good. ( I never got a reading of moist however, but that could be just my usecase scenario alone) But I don't think this is a really important thing we need to measure for plants with an instrument, we can dig around with our fingers to get a feel of it. So, out of 3 measurements, only 1 works in any manner. You are better off getting your eyes, nose and fingers trained than to buy this thing for ~₹400.

The product gives useable results for light and moisture levels. Does not read pH at all. Not returning because for the price I did not expect much. So will use it for wetness measuring. UPDATE after 1 month: The switch broke down. Very flimsy equipment - and it is sealed. Yu can't open it to fix the switch.

Ayer recibí el medidor y tan contenta con la compra, lo primero que hice fue irme al huerto y probarlo. Me resulto curioso y raro ver que el ph de mi suelo era super basico, fui probando en varios sitios y el valor del ph no cambiaba asi que lo meti en la compostera, aqui apenas se movio la aguja un milimetro.

I bought this when we had a lawn. Sadly, we had to remove it due to the water shortage. Now I have repurposed this to measure the moisture in the potted plants inside the house. My wife thinks the potted plants need to be watered at certain intervals regardless of the soil condition. As we have been married for over 30 years I know not to argue with her. Instead, I use this little device that shows the moisture level.

great little rig, But took me awhile to figure the light out since Led Lights don't register and neither does florescent only incandescent rates off the charts. That's when I realized it doesn't register light, It registers the heat, which really sucks and feels like abit of a rip off... Other then that Works really well for moisture and Ph...

I bought this mainly to see the pH of our soil as we have just moved in to the property and planning to plant a tree and some annual flowering plants. I had it dipped into our plain water and then added a few cider vinegar to the cup of water to see if the dial will change. It did! And do the moisture level and tested it when his it from the sun and out. So I know this thing actually works well. Our soil is of hard and compact clay composition so we have to prepare the soil before inserting the metal rods so as not to bend them like what other users mentioned in their product review. I like it that it has a Readings chart guide! I think it’s a bonus x
