Duke Cannon Solid Cologne for Men, Old Glory, 1.5 oz

This is the nicest cologne my husband owns and a fraction of the cost of some of his other options. If you like the Old Glory soap or the scent of leather, you’ll love this. The scent lasts all day too! It’s the first men’s solid cologne I’ve ever purchased so I wasn’t sure if my husband would like it, but he loves it! And the tin is super cool. The only thing I would change is a tighter fitting lid, because the sliding lid is super loose.

This is what I was looking for. I have a few other solid colognes but this one is one I wish I could get in an air freshener for my truck and my office. I grew up as a country boy so I love the smell of leather. This is a manly smell, I wish it lasted a little longer. I only smell it for about 3-4 hours. Duke Cannon makes some great products but they aren't the cheapest out there for sure.

The leaf and leather solid cologne smells very sophisticated. If you’re looking for a crisp clean scent, this is not up your alley. However, if you’re looking for a deeper notes, this is the one. As you can see in the photos, I already used it. It’s very leathery at first then it transitions into a sweet leaf. I find it lasting about two hours and the three is a nice faint smell. If it can last a couple hours, that’s all I want and I can always reapply when need be. It’s a lot more than you would get in a spray, I think the value for the money is better than the cologne that you can spray.

One ends up smelling like a tobacco store (not cigarettes, of course). But, if you use the right amount of the product, the scent is really pleasant. It's slightly sweet.

I bought this to compliment my Duke Cannon body wash of the same name. I like the concept; keep it in my locker at work. I really like the scent but it’s just not “strong” enough. I don’t know if it’s just my batch or if the tin doesn’t hold the fragrance like a bottle of cologne; but I feel like I have to put a lot on for minimal effect. I don’t like giving a lack luster review for Duke Cannon products but just being honest.

This stuff smells great, especially paired with Buffalo Trace body wash and Leaf & Leather bar soap, both also from Duke Cannon.I've received many compliments on it, usually something to do with smelling like a cigar/pipe shop, but there's amber with leather and vanilla notes; a warm, inviting scent. It's easy to take along too, I've had bad experiences with cologne bottles breaking in luggage, and with this one you still want to be careful because the tin it comes in will bend and dent easily, but even in that case, it's solid cologne so it doesn't spill.

Smells really good. Not too strong, just right. Lasts 6-8 hours. I would really score this a 4.5 if I could because the case sucks. They need a sealable case. That’s the only bad thing about it.

Great quality, great, long lasting scent. First time using a solid cologne, and it's pretty easy. No waste, cool packaging. Would like to try the Bourbon scent cologne but it's not easy to get in Canada and not provided by Amazon as far as I can tell. Please add the bourbon solid cologne on the Amazon website.

This is my second experience with a solid cologne. As someone that gets headaches from most "mainstream" spray cologne, I love the solid style.Good:value / size: I didn't read the description, but I expected to get less, it's a good size.Scent: I was initially a bit underwhelmed with the smell, but I've grown to really like it. One tweak I would like is a bit of a "sweet" note added, like vanilla or bourbonBad:Tin: not really a big deal, but the tin didn't stay closed all that well. I bent it inward a little and it's better now.Colour: This is the worst part of the item, I don't know if it needs to be this yellow, but you can notice it on your skin , once rubbed in it mostly goes away, but I wish that it was more neutralI would be interested in trying other products from this brand in the future. I love the charity contribution.

A wonderful solid cologne. Exactly the scent it was looking for. Falling somewhere between a vintage smelling cologne and something more modern. Woodsy and smoky. Lasts the day but not overpowering. Truly unique. Get it!

The product is great. Long-lasting and easy to put on. Great value for the money.
