Shepherd Hardware 3030 Standard Size Umbrella Hole Ring and Cap Set

My table has been missing this grommet ring for several years. Recently, I noticed small chips in the glass around the inside edge of the table hole due to the wind agitating the umbrella pole. This agitation also caused the paint on the umbrella pole to be rubbed off in the area around the table hole.This ring is reasonably priced, arrived in a timely manner and was easy to install. The umbrella pole easily inserts within the ring and, once again, protecting the glass table top. My only criticism is the cap fits into the ring too tightly. Inserting the cap and certainly removing the cap takes more effort than necessary.

Made of flexible clear silicone, looks nice and is easy to use. However, unfortunately, it’s too small for the umbrella hole in our table. The actual hole in our glass table top measures 2-1/4”. I don’t see anything larger in this style, so I think we’ll have to go with the wedge/cone type.

Ok, so I wasn't sure if I really needed these or not. I bought a patio set to put on our covered balcony so I knew I didn't need an umbrella. In fact, an umbrella wouldn't even fit under the ceiling. I hated having a hole in the middle of the table. It wasn't necessarily hurting anything, but I just couldn't get past the fact that it bugged me to see a hole. I looked around stores and really couldn't find anything to fit in the hole. I wasn't even sure what I was looking for to be honest. Well, when browsing online I came across these plastic hole fillers. The price was very inexpensive and it seemed to be just what I needed. They shipped very quickly and I was very pleased when I opened the package. They are very durable and just as they are described. I instantly installed them on our table and it fit perfectly. I can now sit at our table without having to look at an open hole. It keeps things from falling through and makes our patio set look complete. I am very happy with this product and the durability of the plastic tells me that this will last a long time.

Now I am replacing table with no hole. To put a hole in $150.00. Happens every time. This makes your table look like new. Get it.
