BAFANG48V 750W Mid Drive Electric Bike Conversion Kit with HMI Display BBS02B 8FUN Mid Motor for Bike Kit with 48V Ebike Battery

If you have a problem, you’re on your own. I’ll explain. I installed my 48V 750W Bafang kit with a compatible 48V 750W 13A battery system. The bike worked great for about 30 minutes. Then the motor began shutting off every 10-20 minutes without warning while riding, which was dangerous because once I suddenly lost power on a hill with riders behind me nearly causing a wreck. The battery was still on; the Bafang motor system had turned itself off. Then the speedometer stopped working. No damage or water exposure; it just stopped working. The PAS and throttle still work (when the system decides to stay on) but the speed shows 0. I reached out to the seller and they gave me a pathetic excuse that it must be my battery and said I needed to upgrade to a super expensive 25A battery, which is insane because Bafang doesn’t even sell a 25A battery for their products. I contacted the Bafang USA folks about the issue and they claim they will not support anything sold by a third party, even if it’s their product. Basically, I’m on my own with a $500 motor that only works some of the time. I told the seller and the manufacturer I was willing to work with them to find a solution before I posted my review, but it’s been weeks of radio silence. I will never buy a Bafang again, because they have proven they will not stand by their product.

Very happy with mine. Using a 48v battery. First trip I went 40 miles and a lot of very steep hills and used 3/5ths of the battery. Total weight with trailer, bike and me is 400lbs and it worked like a charm. To extend the battery life I had the pas at either 1 or 0 to get up to speed then turned the pas to 9 and pinned the throttle down. Some reviews say the throttle is more of an on/off button but mine works just like a throttle. Since you don't want to shift while the motors going I installed the brake levers with the built in kill switches it came with and loosened the slack a bit on one so I can use it as a clutch which is nice for trail riding as well so it doesn't kick on unexpectedly. You can use a 52v battery but it's not good for the controller. These are known for having a problematic controller but luna sells an upgraded one for $100. To extend the life of a lithium ion battery dont drain it all the way, only use 80% except every 10 charges you should drain it completely. If you dont use it for a while don't keep it fully charged or drained keep it at 40%

Received just after the virus crisis got serious, on time but much less expensive shipping. I live in Hawaii and needed something to replace or significantly reduce my dependence on local mass transit. You have to be an experienced bike person with tools to build out. I was one of those guys. I took my time and was patient; took me total 8 hours over 4 days, again just being patient. In the end after a quick spin today, WOW! Even with lowest peddle assist, the power is ridiculously strong. If you have not used a motorcycle be careful it takes off with one turn on the crank. To learn to build, watch YouTube videos, lots of them! It’s a big investment so be educated before you take the plunge, understanding if your bike will even fit with this. My bike is a Giant folding with 20 inch wheels! Certainly way less than buying a over priced e- bike! Oh and customer service, very good, accountable! Hopefully the current shipping price reduces after the crisis, the total price plus shipping of over 400.00 is the same as our local bike store which was a deal breaker buying locally for me. I got way less from this company! Thank you for helping me become less dependent on polluting buses and getting me home quicker from a long day at work! I’ll update more when I stop teleworking!Update: Still works great, vary fast, long lasting battery, got 10 miles and zero drain. One issue and a minor one. The torque is strong which causes the motor to move up and down, loose. I googled and it’s common. I got some strong zip ties to cinch to drive to frame, thanks to a guy on YouTube.

Purchased to convert a 15 year old 700cc(tire size) bike into an ebike. Glad I went with the 750W motor. I watched a few youtube installs for this product and it really helped with some small issues encountered. You don't have to be handy to properly convert your bike to an ebike, just make sure the crank fits into your bike. The tools that came with the package also is essential. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't come with instructions or a wiring diagram. I didn't know how to connect the included head light. I had to search google to find a wiring diagram.

Purchased this about a week ago, came really quickly. I spent an entire Saturday and some cussing putting it on and getting to work, but I did get it to work and work very well. I’m not savvy with bikes and have never taken one apart before but if you’re patient and have the right tools, anyone can do it. There are plenty of YouTube videos to assist you.The product is good quality and well built. It actually feels smoother than my old normal bike even without the motor turned on. Seller has been quick and responsive with questions I had. Definitely excited to get out and ride some now that it’s built.

Installed on my wife’s TREK . Easy install and great quality. It impressed me with power and battery.

Put it on a Trek Marlin 6. Fits great and very powerful motor. Gets 22mph on flat with no pedaling. Closer to 30 when you pedal fast.

Customer service was great, I been using product and it works like it should.

So it must have taken almost 2 months to get both the battery and the motor. The seller was very helpful and gave updates when requested. The only issue I had was they waited for the motor to delivered before sending the battery. I understand it cannot be sent together but the could have been sent separately at the same time. This was the only reason I did not give a 5 star.In terms of the product, I am very impressed, yes you need to know what you are doing to a certain extent and it does take some time and sweat to get it all together but when done its done, its awesome fun. I got the 48v 17.5Amp battery and I am getting 60 miles easy on the pedal-assist and I am a heavy rider. Everything you need is in the package and the added headlights are good too. Only had it for a few weeks so let's see how it goes.

I did have to wait nearly a month for delivery, but that was due to Covid. EnjoyCycling were amazing at keeping in touch and letting me know the status of the delivery. It finally came a few days ago and I have already fitted it. I can't believe how amazing this is to ride with. Would definitely recommend.

Took about a month to arrive but when it did was pretty simple to fit even without instructions.I weigh 80 kg and the bike the battery and motor all come to about 20kg and I easily got up to 30 mph with just the throttle the pedal assist is excellent to.

Good product hard to fit but it runs well and a 12 ah battery runs for 20 miles easily. Can get up any hill. Run with either pedal assist or throttle. Pedal assist runs for longer.

Worked as imagined, had to be slightly modified to fit battery to bike. Overall great product would highly recommend.
