I bought this item to assist in locking down both sides of my Golf Cart seat, to reduce the chances of battery theft. Measured the overall distance I needed, looked at the length sizes manufacturered by this company and ordered two to secure the golf cart seat on each side. Also ordered a mini size Kriptonite chain to bolt the Club Car (Presedent model) battery charger at the rear area under the back seat. I confidently leave it bolted through the charger handle and golf cart seat metal frame.These chains are the BEST!!!! Only draw back is I need three (3) separate keys. When you realize the safety these bad boys provide and without modifications to my customized Golf Cart, keys are but a small concern.

I should have heeded the reviews about the lock cylinder jamming and not unlocking. My lock jammed and would not unlock!!! I was unable to unlock my e-scooter! Not only was I late to work but had PAY to have someone come in and cut the lock off! BEWARE - DON'T BUY - WASTE OF $$$$$$$$$$$$

Great lock, it's long enough to wrap around frame and lock to a post. I usually use it just to lock the read wheel to frame. This lock unlocks and locks easily, and is a good length to hang off the top tube to hold the lock while riding.

Great lock, huge deterrent to theft. One thing to keep in mind is you probably will only be able to get the frame, its not long enough to get a wheel and the frame unless everything is super close together. Works for me because I wanted something bulletproof but trying to keep weight down on my road commuter. I think this is about a pound lighter an foot shorter than the 785. If weight isn't a big deal, consider the 785. 4 stars because the lock mechanism sticks a bit. Was like this from day one, and doesn't seem to be getting worse. My brother has the longer 785 lock, and the key sticks about the same in that one. This lock is so cheap compared to other similar locks it's worth it to me, just know you will probably have to spend about 15 seconds playing with the key every once in a while.P.s. You really should use something at least as heavy as this lock for your main bike lock. I had a bike stolen from my balcony last year, it was locked up with just a regular cable lock, but I thought that should be fine since it was not visible from the street and on my property. Cable locks are too easy to cut. If your bike is worth anything you should really use a lock like this, the only way this lock is getting clipped is maybe a plasma cutter.

I had read that you need to put the key into the lock all the way for it to work correctly, and I definitely try to do that, but many times that's the problem, the key seems to go in most of the way but not all the way down, The key will turn, but not unlock if it is not all the way down. Love how sturdy the chain feels and is covered with fabric and a rubber tube near the end. Will continue to use, but hoping over time the key will go in completely easier in the future and that it just needs to be worn in?

Got this for my son, he rides his bike all over town and wanted something smaller he could easily take with him. Lock seems solid and provides good security in a small package.

I carry this in a fanny pack as I commute to work; also take it for casual rides in case I need to stop and secure the bike. It's not too heavy to encumber pleasure rides, and it doesn't scuff my frame due to the sheath over the chain. Good stuff.

I use this to lock up my Segway Scooter, its a nice thick chain, yet not too long so i don't feel like someone could get my scooter out easily. I watched some reviews before hand and it looked like trying to cut this chain would be scary as it would bounce around a lot and the lock is decent enough to at least pose a challenge to the most novice of attackers. Yes its not pick proof, or cut proof, really no lock is invincible but it feels like this would be enough of a deterrent and it does its job.

Avevo bisogno di una catena di qualità per il mio Ninebot Max con le seguenti caratteristiche:1. lunga il minimo per essere usabile nella maggior parte dei casi (piccoli paletti) e stivarla nel marsupio attaccato al manubrio2. relativamente leggera (intorno al kg) ma con maglie quadrate e buon lucchetto3. di protezione media perchè da usare solo in casi sporadici per qualche minuto (il tempo di entrare in un negozio in cui non posso portare il monopattino con me) o da lasciare in un androne privato abbastanza sicuro (ma non si sa mai!) per poco tempo.Questa catena è perfetta e la chiave ed il meccanismo scorrono fluidamente (a patto di inserire bene a fondo la chiave). Confermo la lunghezza utile di 55cm. Certo che, se dovessi aver bisogno di più flessibilità e maggior sicurezza, allora opterei per la Kryptonite Evolution 4 da 90 cm che dalle mie ricerche è risultata il miglior compromesso (peso-qualità-affidabilità-costo) sul mercato (ma di ben quasi 3kg di peso).
