I do a fair amount of gun work and this is a very nice set of punches. Great for removing pins and aligning components for assembly.

For the price, I couldn’t have asked for a better set of punches. Easy to use, with a great, stable design. The punches don’t seem to bend easy, and in fact you’d really have to be hammering the absolute crap out of something to bend them, in my opinion. The jig it comes with offers a lot of stability, although it’s not very big. The punches don’t seem to be soft either, although I’m sure they’d start to deform slightly around the tips if you’re hammering something extremely hard and not willing to move. Still, they’ve got me covered and I give bonus points for the box itself (both the cardboard one it comes with and the tough plastic one the punches and hammer fit into) The box is great to hold both the jig and the set of punches, so make sure you save it for convenient storage! (Talking about the cardboard outer box that will contain both the jig and plastic box that carries the punches and hammer) The hammer also comes with different tips, allowing you precise control over the type of impact you’d like to give. Overall, for the price I give it a firm 5/5, 10/10, beyond my scale, or what have it. Great set, great price!

Great setup for the tool and very good quality

I got this because I needed a punch to swap out the trigger in my Bergara HMR rifle and I wasn’t sure what size I needed. This kit had about every size punch needed for tapping out pins. It had the size I needed and everything went as planned. It came with several screw in mallet heads for about every application you might encounter.

I use these for minor gun smithing. This is a good set to have, and appear to be well made. Been using for months and no issues so far.
