Passed practical test with shore power, Tacoma 110v power, and RAV4 12v power
UPDATE: Reports of difficulty connecting to phone Bluetooth are accurate. Biggest tip is use the QZsmart app (scanning the QR code was problematic for me as reader kept going to wrong app while searching android play store didn't find the app either) and be on a 2.4Gz network with your phone (also problematic as I forget my 2.4G extender password). But once resolved setup was fairly easy. The app is intuitive and biggest advantage is being able to monitor the cooler while driving to make sure it is working properly in in the cargo area where you can't just glance at it. Otherwise, you might get an unwelcome surprise when you stop somewhere only to find out the cooler was not working. I tested the cooler immediately after delivery with the assumption that the cooler was only transported in the upright position, so maybe these test results are skewed if the refrigerant needs to settle. After 30 minutes on house power: The refrigerator section reached the set temperature of 40 degrees (per the led indicator), although the bottle of water inside only felt cool, not cold. The freezer section reached an indicated 33 degrees of the set temperature of 20 degrees. The bottle of water inside was only cool and no where near freezing. After 60 minutes on house power: The refrigerator section maintained the set temperature of 40 degrees and the bottle of water inside felt chilled enough for a refreshingly cool drink. The freezer section reached the 20 degree set temperature. The bottle of water inside was chilled but still along way from starting to freeze. Moved cooler to idling Tacoma truck bed and plugged into the 110V 400W Max / 100W Min bed outlet. After additional 30 minutes (90 mins total) the cooler display read 40/30 degrees. The outside temperature was 80 degrees and the truck was idling in the sun with cab A/C running. The truck bed has a BakFlip4 cover so the cooler was not in direct sunlight. I'm guessing that at driving speeds the outlet would produce higher watts and the cooler would do better. Moved cooler to idling RAV4 and plugged into 12V/120W cargo outlet for another 30 minutes. The outside temperature was 80 degrees and the RAV was idling in the sun with A/C running. After 30 minutes the temperature was 40/20 degrees. Interesting that the cooler did better with RAV4 12V/120W outlet at idle than the Tacoma 110V bed outlet at idle. Maybe due to cargo area getting A/C benefit. Both bottles of water were very chilled at the end of two hours. The water in the freezer was nowhere near freezing but maybe a little colder than the bottle in the refrigerator side. Guessing that freezing will take 5 to 6+ hours. When camping it will run on a 3500W generator or shore power. No error codes were ever thrown. Overall I'm satisfied. If this cooler operates well for years it will be worth the money.

Great Little Portable Refrigerator!
I purchased the small T36 model, 38 Qt (1.25 cubic feet) Bodega refrigerator / freezer about 2 years ago. We use it primarily inside our RV travel trailer although we've also used it in our SUV when going on long distance supermarket trips or on a day trip out in the countryside. We've used it numerous times over the past 2 years and it has performed flawlessly every time, and once turned ON it achieves our temperature settings within 1-2 hours. When we first got it, I tested its temperature performance by putting two thermometers inside and turning it on. Don't remember the exact temperatures measured but it was definitely well below freezing. It has 2 compartments, one for a freezer and the other for typical refrigerated food, and each can be set to its own individual temperature. Or the insulated barrier between the compartments can be removed to form one larger compartment that can be used entirely as a freezer or refrigerated compartment. It has a display with control buttons to operate it, plus it also comes with a smartphone app to control it remotely via Bluetooth if desired. Two power cables are included: 1) a standard 12Vdc cigarette lighter adapter, and 2) a 120Vac to 12Vdc power supply with cable. Our particular model (T36) consumes less than 30W, which is equivalent to 30W / 12V = 2.5A @ 12Vdc. When we use it in our RV travel trailer we place it on the floor while towing and plug it into the 120Vac outlet on a portable power station that we own (EcoFlow Delta 1260Wh) that is set right next to it, see attached photos. With a fully charged EcoFlow power station it can run for 1260Wh / 30W = 42 hours continuously before the power station needs to be recharged. Actually it can last for more than 42 hours since the compressor cycles ON and OFF periodically (i.e., the duty cycle is less than 100%). And our EcoFlow Delta can be fully recharged in 90 minutes using a generator, shore power, or a standard 120Vac household wall outlet. Bodega also makes larger sizes (53 Qt and 64 Qt) as well but we chose the 38 Qt model. We are very happy with our purchase and do recommend it to others. And by the way, if you're interested in the EcoFlow portable power station, here's a link to my Amazon review of it. It holds the temperature very well.
Very good refrigerator. It works great both for keeping food cold and for freezing. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Temp hold on freezer not great, but otherwise awesome product
I've had this for a week and put it through its paces. It's great. The temperature setting isn't free of fluctuation even if unopened, but stays within range. In general: Direct Expansion gas compression (DX) is the current best form of freezing on the market today. Absorprion fridges, often used in RVs are limited to ±20°F from abient outside air temperature (OAT) so on a hot day in Arizona it won't keep ice or ice cream usable, and fish and poultry is useless as well. They also have to be kept level to work. THIS unit has a real DX compressor, real gas so the state transitions (liquid to gas absorbing the heat, gas to liquid being compressed after releasing the heat and so on. Give it 8" clearance in the back, 4" on the sides, 12+ VDC to run (it comes with a car adapter and a home voltage adapter).. For car users, set the voltage sensitivity to H (High). It will run when the car is on, and if it doesn't run when the car is off than (you need a new battery for the car and) set it to M (medium) for a lower threshold to shut off. The cooler itself is great. It keeps things cool. It lacks rubber straps to hold the lid tight but the lid handle locks so it's mostly as good. It is NOT an Igloo. It works well enough. It will not maintain the set temperature. i put it at -5°F freezer 34°F fridge. It did freeze my 4oz water, but wentup to 15°F in the freeezer to do it. That's still below the freezing temperature of water, but a 10°F variance is something I'd want to be aware of... except if I'd bought a fridge/freezer where the temp goes from "1-5" and you don't really know what it ever is. This is an improvement. Power utilization is good.. fit and finish is awesome. The lid stays shut. The 110VAC adapter works great. My remaining projects are: 1. Create a "mount" for it in the back seat so it doesn't "walk away" from my truck. 2. Permanently wire it in. The cigarette lighter output is busy with a 3-way Y-adapter, a Valentine 1, a Garmin 5i, and a USB charger for the phone. Would I recommend this to others: YES Would I buy it again: If we get that RV trailer we've been talking about, YES Would I sell it to friends knowing they'll hunt me down if I rip them off: YES If the zombie apocalypse was happening, other than my weapons would I take this: YES If I could DIY make this better: 1. Add insulation. As I said, it's not an igloo, and it cost energy to cool the space. If you're willing to reduce the space and put some foam or other insulation you'll not only save on power, but it will maintain temps great. 2. Layer the food and put some for of clear vinyl between them. Put most used stuff on top. Some of this is "general cooler stuff" but now that you're working a compressor it matters more. That way you're not introducing ambient (hot) air into the cold box. 3. Add a $60 refrigerator icemaker to the freezer side. Feed it water through a tube and a bottle, and feed it electricity... where there is a bit of a problem. You see, fridge replacement icemaker units are $50-$60... but they run on 120VAC. In a car, RV, boat, or aircraft you have 12 or 24VDC. You can use an inverter but there's a huge inefficiency there. So I'm looking to buy one, gut the motor, find a 12VDC motor that does the same job, and mount that in. There's a guy on youtube that mounted an icemaker in his cooler. Youtbe-search it (can't link to it here). The point is that installing an icemaker in a cooler is... well... cool... but installing it in a freezer means your cubes will stay frozen forever. Now if there was only a soda dispenser on top!

POOR Product and Terrible Customer Support
After just a few months of testing this fridge, I have found some issues which makes this fridge untrustworthy. When using just one zone, the fridge side, the temp stays pretty constant even in hot weather. When using only the freezer side, the same is true. When using it as a dual zone fridge/freezer, this is where the product fails in my opinion. When in dual zone mode, the fridge side stays at a pretty constant temp, however, the freezer side fluctuates anywhere from 0 degrees (where I set it) and 47 degrees!!! I wouldn't trust my frozen food with those fluctuations ever. Customer support: "That's normal". Well, if they want to eat rotten food, let them (I'm exaggerating a bit, but you get the jest). Now, for the build construction. In about a week, I noticed the lid bowed like a wing. I have attached a photo for your viewing pleasure. Obviously, that's not creating a very good seal, and cold air is escaping. However, this has nothing to do with what I mentioned above with testing. This just makes it worse. I emailed customer service SEVERAL TIMES, and at first, the were willing to help. About 1.5 months went by with me asking for status once a week, and this is their final email to me: "Thanks for your patience and I apologize for the late reply. I am sorry to tell you that this part is currently out of stock, and the supply chain department has urgently purchased this part from the supplier. It will be a while before we ship. Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions." Every previous response from them was "Thanking me for my patience and apologizing for their late replies", along with typical other bs. This was their response before the previous: "I have urged the supply chain department to provide new parts as soon as possible. Please be assured that we will fulfill our promise to send you the new parts." So if you want a subpar product with customer support that is a joke, buy this fridge. I hope you find this review educational on this product.

Perfect Travel Fridge/Freezer for 2 People
Aside from it being a little smaller on the inside than I was hoping it will be perfect for our travels. We have found many hotels now only offer a "drink cooler" mini fridge that really don't even keep drinks cold. We have a hotel chain we mainly stay at as they offer a nearly fully size fridge and freezer with a kitchenette. When that hotel is not available we will be bringing our BODEGACOOLER as the mini fridge/freezer for our room. The fridge side is pretty stable between 35-37 degrees and the Freezer at 2-4 degrees sitting in our kitchen. I bought the T36 Insulated Protective Cover Insulated Transit Bag (available on Amazon) for the BODEGACOOLER and that helped even more with colder temperatures. With the T36 it holds a solid 35 degrees on the fridge side and a solid -4 in the freezer. It runs very quiet and can really only be heard when there is an absence of any other noise. It seems to be well constructed and really can find no fault. I have not tried the phone app as I don't see any real need for it.

Customer service was great!
The customer service was fantastic and very cooperative! The first one had a problem, but after trying a few things that didn't work, they quickly sent me a new one. It is easy to use and performs as advertised. I am looking forward to taking it on our next road trip to travel with us n the car.

Does the job and long lasting
I’ve been running this fridge everyday in my van for over an almost two years now and it’s still running solid. The freezer freezes this and the fridge keeps things cold. The one thing that sucks some times is if the freezer is set too low then sometime the fridge will freeze, but I believe that only happens in winter when it’s colder outside. And to fix it, you just have to set the freezer temperature a little bit higher. Still a five star product though.

Assolutamente perfetto.

Actualización a 4/2023.

Great portable fridge
First of all this is despatch directly from the seller. I was in a hurry for it since I wanted it for in the car and needed it quickly. Delivered by DPD in three days. I was very impressed. The unit itself I was a little sceptical of. You may have seen units for years that are car fridges but they don’t really work very well. This is totally different. On the mains supply it took 40 mins to cool to -7c. And it really was cold. The quality of the unit is great. It’s quite heavy but that’s to be expected. The phone app is quite cool and easy to use too. I haven’t connected it in the car yet, but to be fair I got it for use on the go in hotels etc and the power supply steps it down to 12v anyway. All in all I’m very impressed.
