I always look for quick sources for PLA to use on my X1C printer other than wait for a shipment from BBL. Prices on this are currently comparable to a large quantity buy from BBL. Support structures break away easily, and seems to be less brittle than most standard PLA. Available in many colors, although I typically paint my models so black, white and gray are my most often used. Love the four packs as well. I have noticed some warping in the cardboard spools but I can usually straighten them with my fingers and then hit them with a little super glue to stiffen. Great overall at current price.

I've worked with Overture's PETG before and while its very pretty, it gave me some problems to say the least. Most of which were user error most likely, i.e. not drying the filament properly before printing. But this PLA is nothing like that. My experience with it was one of ease and simplicity. I popped the filament into my reverse bowden setup and just started printing. No fuss, no muss, (anyone actually know what "muss" is?) this stuff prints! All Overture's filaments seem to have quite nice aesthetic qualities from my experience, and this PLA is no exception. The blue is quite vibrant and the black has a very nice gloss finish to it without exposing all the layer lines in the process. Both printed without problems whatsoever, and both came out looking great. I tend towards more functional prints, so PLA isnt something I tend to use alot of as a result. Unless I'm making something for someone else, iterating on a new design, or doing some little decor type thing for around the house, I tend to use more "industrial" type filaments that have better heat resistance and strength. But ironically I was printing some drawers to put underneath my S4 filament dryer when I ran out of ABS... I live in the rural south, so theres no Micro Center around (I envy you people so much) and there isnt a single brick and morter filament store of any type in my neck of the woods. (Hey Overture, how does your reseller program work??? lol.) So I ended up grabbing the only other black filament I had to finish the print. Could you believe one of the ABS parts actually shattered in my hands putting the drawers together, while it Overture PLA+ counterpart performed as intended? Idk if this was the result of not printing hot enough or what. It seemed like the layer adhesion on that particular ABS drawer was severely lacking, but it was printed with the same filament and printer profiles as all the other ABS parts... And the Overture PLA+ I printed quite a bit faster and quite a bit cooler, but hey, materials are different like that. PLA performs better when printed at lower temps than ABS does. So yeah. Either way, to make a long story short, I've used pretty much solely eSun for my PLA needs for a while now, but after these two rolls of filament I may make the jump to Overture for PLA+. I definitely intend on purchasing more in the near future, thats for sure.

Had a lot of print quality issues to begin with. Also had build plate adhesion problems and feed problems. Once i got my Heat set correctly and first layer setting good It is amazingly good. in my opinion it is way better than regular pla and more durable. I'm am somewhat new to 3d printing but after many YouTube videos and many articles I thought myself how to set the temps correctly. So these are my settings with the Lotmaxx Shark. First Layer Print speed is 25 No cooling 57c for build plate and 230 starting temp. Then I go to 220 for the rest of the print and leave my build plat at 57c with 70% cooling print speed at 50.If I'm doing a lot of bridging than i go to 100% cooling. The only problem at the high temps is that you need to pay attention to your joint tolerance as it may stick together. If you do a print in place with super tight tolerances. best I've got to work at these temps on a tolerance test is .25. If i run my nozzle any cooler than 220 than i have feed issues unless I slow the print speed down. Most print in place things are completely fine. I also have starting print on glass and seems to do just fine.

-The "2kg 2 pack" is not two 2kg spools. It's two 1kg spools- Other than the slightly confusing listing, I'm always super happy with the Overture Professional PLA. Its my all around favorite to use. The print quality and accuracy is excellent. Performance is excellent. Very strong and plenty tough. Overture filament was the first filament I bought, years and years ago, when I was still on my Ender. Even after trying out dozens of other brands, I still go to overture for their PLA and ASA.

works fine with P1S. I use this filament in the AMS by removing the sides of the spools and then placing the core into an extra spool. in my experience glue on the plate is more important with this filament. very happy with how the filament melts together to produce a nice finish. seems harder and tougher than standard PLA. This is now my standard go to filament, works great, easy to get from az.

I've used a few filament in hundreds of prints but nothing comes close to the quality I can get from Overture. It's smooth every time. I've bought many rolls of black and several wood colored from them. Not a better one I've found yet. Printing with the K2 Plus and K1C.

This PLA gives consistent results. It sticks to the bed without falling off while printing and still releases easy enough when done printing.
