Air compressor pressure switch works great

Delivery was uneventful. Installation was straightforward. However, I have yet to achieve more than 95 psi with the compressor running for 10-15 minutes from an empty tank start, whereas prior to my old pressure switch failing, I was able to get 120psi within 10 minutes from an empty tank start. There are some set screws adjustments that I have not had time to adjust yet. Also, the compressor has not yet reached a "self-cut off" pressure yet either. After it hovers at 95psi for several minutes, I just manually cut it off because of the noise in the garage.

Part quality a little on the thin side.

So far good. Purchased this for an old 20gal 125psi max compressor that had a faulty pressure switch and no longer switched off when it reached the desired pressure. Doesn't come with any instructions, but does have a wiring diagram on the inside of the cap. Ended up not using the smaller air valve, hose connector and pressure relief valve as they were of much lower quality compared to what I already had. Between the new part and my old part, I had enough parts to make the repair. This kit doesn't come with any thread tape, so have that purchased ahead of time and ready, you will need it on ALL threads. Doing this, I had ZERO leaks.

Please don't waste your money on this one, let me explain. I suppose somewhat my fault for trying to save a couple of bucks. This thing is not worth the postage that it took to get here. Got it installed and wired, filled up my tank and I could hear a hissing. Tracked it down to a gauge and tightened it. It was still hissing. Tightened it down some more, still hissing. Turns out the gauge had an internal leak making it useless. Not the end of the world I had another gauge so NBD. Upon tracking down another leak, it was the regulator. The entire regulator body was cracked. Now this isn't my first rodeo with these types of things, but the regulator body was as cheaply made as it could possibly be, and I suspect it cracked during installation.. So let's assume that's my fault but next on the list is the unloader valve. It does not function properly. One flaw, I can overcome but three on the same job? I don't think so. As I'm typing this, I hear the pressure relief valve leaking as well. I even have another one of those but by this point what did I actually buy?

Personally I would not install this in an industrial or commercial application great for a residential and light duty use. After assembling it the same way as it is pictured the air pressure gauge presses against the electrical cover causing inaccurate reading, shut off valve is extremely small and fragile the Top Nut was loose and snapped the second it got snug. Fittings took multiple wraps of Teflon tape some more than others. All in all the pressure switch itself worked and operated as it should. Fittings and couplers that it comes with should be replaced not a bad buy for light use or if you just need a switch itself.

Works as it should. Cut in and cut out pressures work the only thing is I wish it had a water separater.

Arrivé en pièces à monter soi-même. Ce n’est pas un souci, je suis bon bricoleur mais pour les autres ???? Pas de notice. Au montage, ne fonctionne pas correctement. Pas de contrôle de la pression. Je dois l’arrêter manuellement. Le ressort interne n’était pas attaché. Pour éviter un retour, j’ai essayé de réparer mais ce fut une mauvaise idée. Difficile à remonter. Un peu déçu…..
