Italian Dandelion Heirloom Seeds - Cichorium intybus - B207 (2K Seeds, 2 Grams)

Small amount of seeds from the packet was planted in the backyard next to the fence in poor soil mixed with grass. I was surprised by the high germination rate and the strength of the plants. Might have to prune it. The seeds were planted for chicory root but the leaves are so large that first I thought I have the wrong plants. So far the plants are handling the hot South Texas weather very well. Still have about 90% of the seeds.

Nothing ever even sprouted.... :(

Nearly 100% Germination rate. Was very surprised by this I used coco coir in the hex tray and sat on top of a heat mat keeping moist with a distilled ph water of 7.4. Germination occurred in 3 days!
