Muncie Murder & Mayhem

Interesting and fun to read.

I am a native of Muncie, Indiana and a history buff,so this was a fascinating read . A lot of the early accounts -- those before the 1950s -- were long before my time , but I lived in and around Muncie during the 50s, 60s and early 70s and I never knew of any of the things that were happening outside my little family. It was rather eerie to find out all of the crime that happened that I was blissfully unaware of. I'd recommend this book to a history buff or to anyone interested in criminal activities in Middle America, the so called "fly over " states.

This is a fascinating look at Muncie history! The author brought forth some amazing characters...such as the man who took on the Muncie KKK who had control of the government and police force during his time. This man went on to be a Muncie mayor. A great read!

use to go to muncie for the summers to visit favorite aunt - had fun and really enjoyed this book.

Enjoyed learning about the history of our city.And the authors are favorite columnists if mine.

Learned alot about Muncie. This is an great book well written.

These authors make history come alive with straightforward reporting and lively observations.
