Amplify: Digital Teaching and Learning in the K-6 Classroom (The Pippin Teacher's Library)

This book is the perfect companion to the author's first book, Connecting Comprehension and Technology. Amplify is a concise guide to integrating digital teaching in the K-6 classroom. The book is an easy read with concrete examples of "what to do and how to do it". I love the 3 things to do tomorrow at the end of each chapter. There are also QR codes linked to examples of the authors demonstrating concepts from the book. If you can only afford one tech integration book this year, this is the one to buy!

This book would be great for a first year teacher who may feel overwhelmed. It is more of an overview and only have one real chapter dedicated to lesson ideas. I was hoping it would spend more time focusing on how to implement a lesson, instead of chapters about computer care and how to respect one another.It did provide some great websites to help get technology started- though unknown yet as to if they are free.

If you are looking for meaningful ways to integrate technology with best classroom practices, this is your book. I feel that the content could be applied to any grade level, so there is something for everyone. This is a great resource!

Love this book! If you are thinking about taking your teaching to the next level with great ideas this book should definitely be on your list!
