Reliable and Effective Eclipse Glasses
My spouse and I used these solar eclipse glasses for the 2024 solar eclipse while in the path of totality in Ohio, and they worked exactly as advertised. We watched the eclipse before, during, and after the event without any issues. Our eyes felt completely fine afterward, with no discomfort or strain, which is what we were hoping for. The glasses provided a clear, safe view of the eclipse, and they did their job well. Seeing the eclipse was an incredible experience, and having reliable glasses made it easy to enjoy. If you’re planning to watch an eclipse, these are a solid, dependable choice.

They performed well, seem to be safe enough
The eclipse/sun viewing glasses industry is apparently rife with imitations. Many of which are unsafe. These glasses have all the printing on them to indicate they are the real thing, and while I don't have lab equipment to verify UV/IR energy passthrough, I can say that you cannot see ANYTHING with them except the sun. As well, they are made of mylar, the same material that my astronomical telescope's solar lens filter is made of. And I cannot see anything except the sun through my telescope lens filter. So I have every reason to believe these are legit. And when I look t the sun, I can see it dimly but clearly. They will be perfect for the eclipse I am certain.

Cheap enough that it was no problem to throw away when I was done with them
Just cardboard frames. I did use them for the eclipse and they worked OK.

Worked great!
These worked great for the 4/8/24 solar eclipse. I love the protection they provided for our eyes. I made sure I got pairs that met all the safety standards. They blocked out all light except for the eclipsed sun itself, making it very easy to see. They fit both my husband and I well, stayed on well, were light weight, and comfortable to wear. They’re flexible enough to move closer to your eyes, if you need to. A great buy!

These keep you from going blind
Flimsy, but they work. I verified they were on some astronomer's "safe brands" list.

Perfect!
These arrived just a few minutes before our eclipse experience started. We were ready with our pinhole boxes, but being able to view through the glasses was SO MUCH BETTER! They worked perfectly! This pic is of the safety info printed on each pair of glasses. We definitely got what we paid for! I ordered these directly from Soluna’s Amazon store and got notice that shipment was delayed - so we made our boxes, feeling very disappointed that we wouldn’t get the glasses in time. To our Amazon driver’s credit (and to soluna’s), they arrived at 2:06 - our eclipse began at 2:13, so we were able to enjoy the full experience! Our area only made it to 91%, but it was such a cool experience and I’m so glad that I was able to share the direct viewing with my family!

Worked okay
They worked well during the eclipse. The only problem I had was keeping them in my ears because they were made of cardboard and didn't fit very well around my ears.

Quite the late review, but I figured I would review this AFTER testing it out during the latest Solar Eclipse. (..And then proceeded to forget about reviewing this until months and months later.. ehem.) First off, the shipping was quick, and they arrived earlier than anticipated. But the main thing was that they worked perfectly, and were well worth the price..! (Especially since it came with two, so if you have others that are viewing such an event with you, they can either take turns, or simply occupy the second pair..! And even if you don’t, you at least have a second pair in case something happens to the first.) The quality was decent, and the overall designs were pleasant..! We all could see the Solar Eclipse in full detail, and our eyes remained protected..! (Tested them out with a flashlight on full brightness, and then the Sun beforehand as it recommended, and it worked immensely well.) (Also do keep in mind that these glasses only last up to a year, give or take- so you will be needing to repurchase per event..!) Overall, I do recommend this brand if you are wondering which you should purchase for the next Solar Eclipse..!
