This iPad case works great for adults and children. I bought one for my husband and another one for the iPad my children use and both iPads are intact. I can’t tell you the amount of times my son has dropped it or stepped on top of it and everytime I check on it it’s still intact. Not a scratch or dent or nothing. I have a bone to pick with how hard it is to remove glitter polish but other than that it does its job well. Taking out the case is a bit of a a challenge but the installation process is pretty smooth and you can tell it is very tightly put together. It is very grippy and thick material that feels like matte. Over all it is a great product.

Great protection for my kids iPads. I absolutely love the defender line of otter box. Always durable, the buttons on the side are easy to access. It is covered with a rubber case as well so you can always grip the device!

I've used OtterBox Defender Series cases on all of my phones and I was always very impressed with protection that it provided to my phones. Every one of my phones look like new when they were removed from the cases (and I keep my phones for at least 5 years before getting a new one).This OtterBox Defender Series case is for a 9th generation 10.2" iPad that I just purchased. The OtterBox case comes with a protective screen on the top section of the case, so, no installation of a protective film is not necessary. Once the iPad is safely encased in the OtterBox (go to YouTube and find a video to show you how to open the OtterBox case because I needed to go there to find out how to separate the top from the bottom of the OtterBox Case because there are no instructions included with the case) you will notice just how completely protected the iPad is. included is a secondary cover that you can put your OtterBox protected iPad into (with the screen facing down into the cover which snaps into place. Use this cover whenever you're transporting your iPad anywhere or when traveling. There is a handy place to store a pen if you have one with your iPad. Some people may say that this Defender Series case is a bit overkill in how it protects the iPad, however, I plan on keeping this iPad for a long time and I feel that this case gives me the peace of mind that it is secure and safe from whatever incidents will happen in life to damage it.

I got this for my new I Pad and have used their cases for other Apple devices and once again this product has not disappointed. Otter’s cases are not the cheapest , but worth the extra money. You will find it kind of challenging taking the case apart when you’re ready to put your device in the storage tray, but once you have done so and put everything back together ,you will find you have a well built substantial case to protect your I Pad. It will feel kind of bulky at first but over time you’ll get to appreciate the feel of the extra casing, and if you remove the device for cleaning or other reasons, the device might seem naked without it. You may really like the detachable stand that snaps to the bottom of the main case which lets you set your I Pad upright for watching videos or at a lower angle for making use of the touch controls or typing. Don’t forget the connecting ports have flaps that close whenn your I Pad is not connected to any cables to protect from dust or moysture. So Putting any installation difficulties aside, This is a great case to get for protecting your device!

PERFECT! we ordered this used, SO WORTH IT! It’s in wonderful condition. Fits out gen 9. When you buy used, it does not come with a screen protector, so you will have to order a screen protector separate. But I think it’s worth it. Shipping was quick. Give it a 10/10.The Otterbox for the iPads work great if you have kiddos, our other iPad has the same case and we’ve have no issues!
