ChampionOlympic Grip Plate (5-pound)

These are exactly what I needed to complete our starter set of bumper weights from Rogue Fitness, filling in its weight gaps. To achieve that, I ordered two pair of the five pound weights, and one pair of the two and a half pound weights. They fit perfectly over our Rogue "Beater Bar", and their three finger slots make them very easy to handle while putting them on and off the bar. They are not bumper weights, and have a smaller outside diameter than my bumper weights, but work well with them, and at an unbeatable price. They also weigh almost exactly the same in each pair, so no imbalance problems.Highly recommended!

These are great for increasing weight in small increments. For upper body exercises especially, it is not always practical to increase weight in 20 pound increments, so these are great to use in conjunction with bigger plates such as Olympic bumper plates. They have a nice coating on them that give them a smooth surface. Mine weigh exactly 5lb, so the weight is accurate.

Firstly, buy 2 of these bad boys if you need a pair (or one if you're just replacing one). I got one plate without thinking and reading other reviews. But the weight is really good and grip is great for doing other exercises if you only bought one plate like me (e.g., plate raises, suitcase squats, etc). The finish on this is nicely polished and not rough at all. I will be getting another plate so I can use them on my barbell lol.

This is a high quality, well finished, and true to weight plate. However, unlike the Marcy plates, the grips are not big enough to use the plates without a bar. For example, I was using some Marcy plates purchased locally that have openings allowing you to use the plates almost like dumbells. Great for warming up. These openings are just too small for that, but usable when handling the plates.

Excellent price; great product. I was skeptical when it opened the box because it is not as robust as the one I use at the gym so I weighed it to be sure. To my surprise it was 5lbs. It fits my curl bar perfectly due to it's slim design. Very happy with the purchase.

Got these to be able to bump up the weight a little at a time. They worked for that.

We bought the Champion Olympic Grip Plate weight when my husband started to lift weights. These weights are exactly like they are described in the description. They are very easy to grip even when you have sweaty hands. They have a good snuff and tight fit on the bar. The weights of the weights are true to the description. They are very well made and are of great quality. I defiantly would recommend the Champion Olympic Grip Plate weight.

Exactly as pictured. Easy to grip, nicely balanced weight for core exercises. Came quickly, as well. I got the 5 pound weight, because I was already using three pound weights in each hand for my regular workout, so I thought the 3 pound version might not do the trick for my core workout. Shipped quickly and received in good shape.
