Best siphon for nano tanks
I bought this for my 5 gal and 6.5 gal tanks after getting frustrated by my other gravel vac that I had purchased at my local pet supply store. I had purchased the smallest size hose and it still took too much water too fast while also sucking up all of my sand and leaving behind food, poop, and debris. Seriously. It was a POS. I'm not a complete newbie either. My husband and I had a 90 gal reef tank years ago and are in the process of setting up a 120 gal reef tank, so I'm well aware of how these things work and how to use them. But, anyone who knows anything about aquariums knows that small tanks are a pita and who was I kidding when I decided to jump into freshwater nano/pico tanks!? Ugh! However, this little device has saved some of my sanity! It vacuums the bottom of my tanks so well, sucking up all of the grossness that my fish leave behind, while leaving all of my sand intact. I can gently vac over it or I can really stir up the water and agitate the sand and just suck up everything that come flying up into the water. The tubing can be a little tricky to get some of the pieces and parts connected to, but otherwise this thing is a breeze to use. I LOVE it!

Good product, great customer service
For a nano syphon, I think this works incredibly well. Solid suction - enough to pull in small plant leaves but won’t tear them off. It’s not as powerful as a full size syphon or a targeted Bastet, but it’s absolutely useful for smaller tanks since it doesn’t drain the water as fast. I also had a GREAT experience with the seller when I reached out with a question.Make sure you have parts assembled in the right order, and start with the flow clip clamped. I also recommend using a DIY clip (chip clip worked for me!) to keep the outflow tube in your bucket. Super happy with this new addition to my cleaning kit.

Worked Good for a While
I'm finally learning that over half the items I buy off Amazon are not high quality. Some are but more are not. This mini aquarium cleaner worked for a little while and then the suction bulb came apart at the seams and is now useless.

A must have for small tanks
I was using the large version of this, which was real difficult in my five 3 gallon tanks. This is perfect for smaller tanks and even my 10 gallon tank. It's small enough to get close to the rock caves and other tight area's to clean up debris. It's great for spot cleaning and weekly water changes.I have sand in all my tanks and I don't mind that it gets sucked up. The dirty water separates easily from the sand. I just let the sand dry in the bucket and put it back in the tanks.

Ok I for some
It's a good design to use for a small tank but I found it hard to use because of how lightweight it is. The end kept flipping out of the bucket & getting water everywhere. It sucked debreis up but it didn't seem strong enogh to pick some up. long story short, I'm going back to my old siphon

Great product
Enjoy the different end connectors to use for different purposes. Great suction power of water out, enjoy the squeezing to get the water to flow out. So far so good.

Perfect size but not useful
I thought it would also clean the gravel but it was too strong and couldn’t control the suction even though I used the clamp. It was sucking all my gravel and everything. It was not useful at all. I’m very disappointed.

Good for small aquariums
Works perfect for our tiny 3 gallon beta tank. The full size one we had would pull out water too fast before we could vacuum the entire bottom.
