3xl 5'3" 230lbs...one week post op hysterectomy surgery. Just thought this might be helpful for anyone ordering this shirt. I always feel better about ordering online if I see someone my size in the pictures. :)

This shirt is great! I wear a large and I ordered a large and it fit loose and I wore a tank under it and let it hang kind of layered. I ordered the purple and blue. The material is this so you can see a bra. I love it layered.

A couple months ago, I decided to expand my wardrobe and discovered a couple different Lock & Love tops that looked extremely cute and exactly what I was looking for. I didn't know what to expect with these shirts and sizing seems to be a bit of an issue so I took a chance and hoped that I guessed correctly.For reference, I am 5'6", about 155 pounds with a 36D chest. I ordered a medium in the dark purple and it ended up being a good fit for me. When I first opened the package, I thought it looked pretty unflattering because it seemed huge. I doubted I would wear it very much but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this shirt looks pretty while wearing it and it makes me less self-conscious about my post-baby belly. This shirt is 95% rayon/ 5% spandex and is made in the USA. Washing instructions say to hand wash or machine wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. I ended up throwing it in a lingerie bag with my darks and laying it on a drying rack and it holds up well after washing. It was slightly wrinkled after it dried but when I wear it, my body heat and the humidity help to iron it out a bit.This shirt is extremely soft and is the perfect shirt for warm weather since it feels cool to the touch. It is a bit see-through but I wore a black bra with my dark purple shirt and didn't have too much of an issue although I will probably wear a cami in the future to feel more comfortable. This shirt is longer than most shirts I buy but it is more fitted at the bottom and I like to wear it scrunched up around the waist. The description says this shirt is a scoop neck but my shirt is a V-neck with big, flowy sleeves. I checked the colors more closely just now and discovered that most of the colors have both the V-neck and scoop neck options available so make sure you double-check which type of shirt you are buying.In summary, I like this shirt more than I initially thought and like the look of it when I wear it. The neck and sleeves fit bigger than I normally wear but overall, I like the look and will wear it with a cami underneath since the material is a bit thinner. The purple is very pretty, looks like royal purple and I'm happy with the color. It seems that the size is the hardest thing for everyone to decide. I either wear a medium or large in shirts, depending on the fit. I went with a medium and it ended up being the better fit since a large would've been too big. If you have two sizes you usually wear, I'd purchase this one in the smaller size. I will most likely order another color at some point since this shirt is very versatile and I can wear it with jeans and maxi skirts. I'd recommend adding this shirt to your wardrobe!

I have a tummy, so wasn't really pleased with how this lays on top of it or right below it. Above the waist it looks good and the teal color is accurate. It's really comfy. I am keeping it, though, as I do have a skirt it will look okay with. But if you have a protruding tummy it will draw attention to it, not the opposite. It would be nice if the manufacturer had pictures with someone wearing it or people posted photos. (I'll do that and add to this later.)

Love it! 5'5 and 150 lbs with big ol belly fat! Hides my tummy. Thin material is perfect for spring or summer. Love the pastel pink color. A thin tank top under does the trick for me. This will also be a good cover over bathing suit. Excuse the shorts in my review but I couldn't wait to try this on!

Not sure where everyone was getting off on this running too large or too small. This blouse fit perfectly and it's so flattering! As a plus size woman, finding flattering clothes that fit well and look fantastic without breaking the bank is a serious struggle. This blouse is everything I wanted! Adds the much-needed pop of color to my predominately black wardrobe, the material is soft and light-weight without being see-through, and the ruching at the bottom of the shirt is a clever way to help camouflage my stomach. It doesn't make it disappear altogether, but it makes it far less noticeable than it otherwise would be - especially when wearing color - so I'm grateful for that.For those wondering what the fit is like, the shirt is purposefully looser and a bit drape-like at the upper half. The sleeves are loose as well, allowing for air-flow while covering your upper arms. When you start getting down to the bottom portion of the blouse, it starts to narrow, becoming more fitted so when you bring the bottom up a bit instead of wearing it straight down like a skin-tight dress, that's where you get the ruching effect - and it's fantastic!Blouse is very easy to dress up or down - goes great with shorts, slacks, skinny or flare jeans, yoga pants or leggings, a fitted skirt... Definitely a new staple to my closet! Can't wait to buy more of these in different colors!And for my fellow plus-size girls out there, I recommend getting the v-neck. It's not so low that your cleavage will be busting out if that's a concern, but it's very tasteful and the point helps to elongate the neck :)

I really loved this shirt. Unfortunately, the material was so thin that multiple small holes developed in the shirt after wearing / washing it only twice. I washed it on the gentle cycle in a lingerie bag. It was not worth the money I paid.

Exactly what I expected at its price. It is thin but it was expected.
